Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl - it's been probably over 2 years since I've watched it... it is still epic though. Not my favorite in the whole trilogy but still <3

I agree with every word ye've typed, love. I just watched part of it too... alas, it's not that effective at holding my attention since I've seen it a million and one times, but it's still classic.

Just have to say that your sig is pretty Epic. SH was quite a clever movie! RDJ was the perfect Sherlock and Jude was a devilishly delicious Watson.
Anyways. The Frog Princess was the last I saw... it was quite good!

Sherlock Holmes
Well, it was alright. I'm not at all versed in SH lore, except for the phrase "It's elementary dear Watson", and the bulldog. And it was just alright. Everyone said it was amazing, it was just O.K.
Watching right now:
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Special Extended Edition
It's a masterpiece.

I grew up watching all of their films (Terror By Night is one of my favourites). I used to think that Basil Rathbone was THE Sherlock Holmes and then I saw Jeremy Brett. He'll always be a very special Holmes to me, but I don't think you can beat Mr. Brett.
Only a few of them; TCM has never played them until now, unfortunately! We get another channel that occasionally plays Dressed to Kill, The Woman in Green, and Terror By Night, but none of the others, so those are the only ones I've seen. I totally agree. Basil Rathbone was and is wonderful but Jeremy Brett was great on so many levels that he is the ultimate Holmes.
Just watched Sherlock Holmes' Fatal Hour (1931). This one starred Arthur Wontner, who I heard was a very good Holmes. He was the spitting-image of the Sidney Paget illustrations, but he spoke with such a morose voice that he reminded me of an old professor who's lectures inevitably lull you asleep.
