Again, my mom rented "The Hurt Locker." I haven't been to a movie theatre in ages. Which is really sad. Because I reaaaally want to see "Alice." But I do recommend that you see "The Hurt Locker."
You should see "A Serious Man." (And no, Colin is not in THAT one, he's in "A Single Man) It's definately another brilliant Coen bros. production.
And I agree, there should have been some sort of ... change of movie titles "A Single Man" and "A Serious Man" are too close. Although the Coen bros. film has a reason for that title.

The Cove
Depressingly horrific, inspiring, amazing, and definitely Oscar worthy. I cried most of the way through, especially when they were talking about how the baby dolphins are cordoned off from their parents and then they slaughter the parents. And Ric talking about the sound of the sticks banging together... It gave me shivers.

"Seabiscuit"
Hurray! Such a good movie. It's so exciting and kind of ridiculous that it actually happened. Ha ha ha! I read the book this summer and realized why they made it into a film - it read like a movie. SO good.

District 9
Finally got to see it, and it was worth the wait. Really, really good, enjoyed the story, and the characters were believable, plus I loved Charles, or whatever the main Praun's name was.
