Enchanted

Not my usual cuppa, but it was sweet and funny. James Marsen owns this movie.

"Crazy Heart"

SO. GOOD.

Jeff Bridges :notworthy:

Although, the first scene nearly ruined it all for me. Why? Because it starts in a bowling alley. With Mr. Bridges looking just like the Dude. Oh yeah. XD So the whole movie I kept thinking this guy was just an older, more country, version of the Dude. Because DUDE, he totally was. WIN. :P

"Avatar"

Finally got to see it. Obviously not in 3D. But I think I'll survive. XD It was actually pretty good, I'm kind of surprised. I kinda felt it was like Fern Gully on crack and steroids meets Pocahontas meets the Lion King soundtrack meets The Matrix ... meets ... well you get the idea. And why is it always daughter of the chief and scientist versus military? WHYYY? It's SO obvious. :P Ah well, it was still good fun. :)

The Incredibles

One of the few Pixar movies I'm not completely in love with, the other being Up.

Iron Man 2

OMG. I LOVE THIS MOVIE. Not as much as the first one, but it was still FREAKING AMAZING AND WORTH THE 1.5 HOUR WAIT IN LINE IN ORDER TO GET SEATS. I love it on a different level, it was funnier in parts, tended to drag just a little bit in places, but I loved the villain more, because there actually was one that was around longer than 15 minutes. Some of the funniest quotes EVER! Especially the two seals one, and the roof. War Machine is funny.

I am thoroughly pleased with this movie, and it wasn't a let down at all, which was nice. :)

Serenity
After introducing my friend to all of Firefly, so we finished it out. I think she might hurt me now. :hide: She was at least in shock for a while.

An Education - I loved it, every bit of it... except for Peter Sarsgaard's character... and there was such a nice atmosphere at the theater and people were laughing out loud... so fun! :)

A bit disjointed, but SO good. SO good. I recommend it to any and all.

"Hairspray"

OH. MY. GOD. WIN. Like, that's all that needs to be said. Way too much ridiculous fun. I loved every minute of it. I need to see this show on stage.

^Which Godzilla, the most recent one? If so, he's/it's not a dinosaur, he's/it's nuclearily[?] mutated iguana. If not the most recent one, ignore this comment.

Iron Man 2

My mom wanted to see it, and since it was mother's day, I had to go. Just kidding, I was overjoyed that she wanted to see it so soon after I saw it on opening night. IT WAS SO AMAZING. It's one of those movies that gives me that warm happy feeling in the centre of my chest.
