Sherlock Holmes

Oh, I do love Mark Strong. He is my new favourite villain actor. And soooooo wonderful that if a villain HAS to die, it's done in such a glorious way and is so visually artistic....a very satisfying ending to a very smart and suave criminal. I could watch it him alllllll day.

Oh, and Robert Downey Jr was pretty nice in it as well. :P But I hate kick-ass females. What happened to a woman being charming, intelligent and dangerous but without kicking the crap out of everyone along the way?

^ I've actually never seem him in anything before. I always thought he was just another Brit who could read lines and walk around. He was pretty good actually, and I think he really suits the facial hair.

Just for the sheer lulz of it all. Just terrible in about every single way. Not even Michael Sheen could save it...though he was my favourite part in the whole atrocity. He was so camp and ridiculous and had to be overacting on purpose.

Shallow Grave - the movie where Ewan McGregor supposedly made his break through to stardom.

The Golden Compass. This one hurt a big one. Such wasted potential.

Oh so good.

And there's a reason football is called rugby for pansies. ;) YAY for Morgan Freeman!

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Very nice! Steampunk rocks my socks off. Even Mr Townsend was bearable and that is saying a lot.

Shame that movie critics have sticks up their arses. The sequel would have been awesome!

Wow, did not see what the fuss was all about, the plot was predictable and weak and the characters were all insanely annoying. The special effects were great, it probably would have been good to see in 3d, but I'm really not impressed at all at this film.

Van Helsing

I never realised quite how camp and erratic it was in places, but I still love it so much!!! Yay Hugh Jackman!

Sherlock Holmes

Guuuh Brilliant :)

Iron Man 2

Robert Downey Jr= *ded*, but the storyline didn't excite me that much. Scarlett seemed a bit useless, only posing and fighting in a really obvious "look at me" way. Tony was funnier in the first, and his relationship with Pepper was sweeter in the first, too. But....RDJ did have another one of those "OMG! ARMS!" moments, so all is well. :-P

Actually pretty good. Every time I see Richard Gere, I always wonder why so many women are attracted to him .... and then somewhere along the way I can't stop looking at him. I don't know what it is!!

And then there was Ewan. OHHH Ewan. :swoon: NOM NOM NOM. Does anything more need to be said? Except that while for some bizarre reason Richard is attractive, Ewan puts him to shame.

And then the biggest surprise was seeing CHRISTOPHER ECCELSTON! I about died! *SQUEEEEE* And the American accent! It was just soo ... sooo ... well, it was a good accent, it just sounded so wrong coming out of a Northerner's mouth! :P

I don't know if this counts as a film but it pretty much is one and it is hilarious!

I agree with you on BOTH of these things. XD The effects was the only good thing about the film, but other than that...uhh...*shudders*

Robin Hood
Russell Crowe....guh.....

Cate Blanchett: I love you. Not that I've never loved you, I always have, but you...are...AMAZING!!

It was a very interesting movie!!

"The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus"

Good. Weird ... a little trippy, but good! I honestly had no idea what to expect, but I thought it was interesting, definately different.

[sees hanging man]
"Maybe we should throw him a rope."
"If he's hanging, he's already got one."
