I've gotten like two chapters into "Guns, Germs, And Steel" and already I've put it away. Well ... on hold.
I just checked out "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown. I've been wanting to read it for ages, but none of the libraries ever had it available until today. HURRAY! I'm so excited, I love Dan Brown. XD

Finished "The Lost Symbol" yesterday. LOOOOVED it. Of course I did. I love Dan Brown. And Robert Langdon. The weirdest part of it all? No, it wasn't that Robert gets nekkiiiiid, but that it wasn't in first person. I'm so used to reading the Temperance Brennan novels and the Dresden Files, which are both in first person, that coming into third person just seemed so...wrong. Anyway, LOVED it.
BACK to "Guns, Germs, And Steel: The Fates of Human Societies" by Jared Diamond.

You need to read those, those were awesome! Haven't read The Reckoning yet but loved the others on the Welsh trilogy.
Now I'm reading The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong

A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick. Quite good so far. It has a very interesting premise.

Gods and Generals by Jeff Shaara. I've nearly finished it, and am looking forward to reading the next two in the triology.
American Civil War FTW.
