I would like to join.
Name: Mayla
Age: a few years younger then Obi. Though she seems 19 at first.
Job: She is a hand maiden that tends to serve Obi-Wan and Anikan (thier unofficial servent).
Looks: She has Long brown hair in a braid, freckled skin and grey eyes.
Secrets: She is strong with the force and can control it, and no one knos this. Also she is in love with Obi-Wan, this Anikan suspects.
I was wondering if at some point Obi-wan Kenobi could return her feelings of love.

Mayla walked up to the door way. She let out a sigh, the Jedi Master Obi-Wan was there. "Master Jedi Kenobi," He turned to her an looked at her with kind eyes, eyes she lost herself in all the time. She knew that if she didn't restrian her self then she woul tell how she felt. " I was told, you and Padawan Skywalker would be staying the night. I thought I should come, see if I could be of any assistance." 'And to be near to you." She thought, smileing sadly because she knew it could never be.

Anakin looked at Mayla and said, "We need no assistance. Who sent you?" His eyebrows went down to a confused frown.

Mayla didn't take her eyes from Obi-wan Kenobi. "No one sent me, I went to your chambers, and no one was there." She swallowed. "So I asked a guard and he told me that you two would be here." She then looked at Anikan, she knew her eyes were betraying her, they showed her love for the Padawans Master. "But If you don't need any assistance, then maybe the Senetor does." She raised an eyebrow. She had seen the way Anikan had treated Padame in the past, letting his feelings show.

Anakin's eyebrows remained bent forward in a confused way. "Senator Amidala is asleep." His head titled toward her bedroom door. He swallowed and said, "Why are you up so late?"

Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow as he heard Mayla's story. He could sense she was concealing something but he knew he couldn't probe her mind. She could resist that. He had tested for it before.
The two kouhuns clicked their posionous pincers in excitement as they sensed Padme's flesh blood. R2 beeped in the corner. He didn't see an intruder so he shut off. Little legs scurried as the centipede invaders came closer to her exposed face and shoulders, their stingers swung side to side in anticipation.

Mayla looked at Obi-wan again. She couldn't stand it. 'I LOVE YOU! WANT TO BE WITH YOU! TO KISS YOU!' Her mind screamed. For the last six years she served both teacher and student. And what ever sin it was, she fell in love with Obi-wan Kenobi, but as a jedi, he wouldn't be able to love her in return, she knew this. 'Please, love me in return. I love you Obi-wan Kenobi' she thought wishing for the immposible. Little did she know, Obi-wan had heard her thoughts, for her mental barrier broke. But he was unaware of whose thought they were.

Suprisingly Anakin heard the thoughts. He turned around sharply and stared at her in shock. His eyes grew half their size and his mouth almost seemed to drop to the floor. "How...how dare you?" He said to her. He almost looked at her in disgust.

Obi-Wan sternly stared at Mayla and Eljaraj and even at Padme's handmaiden, Dorme. Her thoughts echoed in his mind. How could she? After a moment his voice raised. "I'm am apolled...never think that ever again," he said out loud, not to anyone in particular. Eljaraj looked confused and Dorme just stared at him. "What?"
The kouhuns were only a foot away from her exposed skin. They made a little shriek of delight. Padme was to deep into her nightmare about assassins to hear them.

Mayla stood silent. He heard her, so did Anikan. She couldn't belived what happened. She felt ashamed. Tears formed in her eyes as she ran from the room.
((I was wondering if Obi-wan could have unkown feeling toward Mayla. Like a connection, so then when he sees her tears he feels bad for what he said.))

Anakin say Mayla run out of the room in tears. He shook his head and said, "Master, can you believe her? You heard her thoughts didn't you?" He then sensed something in Padme's room making his head sharply turn in the direction of it. Something was definitately wrong.

Anakin ran into Padme's room, not caring who or what was in his way. He immediately saw the two Kouhuns right beside Padme. He did what he had to and sliced them in half using only one powerful swing of his saber. Their fat, slimed pieces of their bodies flew across the room.
