Woot! I got up another post guys! And I love the idea of a prequel! That would be lovely. I love me some political intrigue and Maethoriel loves getting her hands dirty. So I'd totally be in.
Also, I'm determined for there to be dwarves in this RP simply because no one gives them enough love. We should have a few dwarf slaves that get freed from Nurn since they are kind of a dying breed and got scattered after the Goblin Wars it wouldn't be hard to see some stupid Men treating them like lessers and taking them into slavery.

Mae! I'm so glad that you're back! Your post totally made my day! And hurray for a SN-prequel, I'm really looking forward to that. It will be so interesting to see how certain relationships developed. I also think that Beör and Maeth need some more interaction time; as both despise one another, it will be so much fun!
And you're right! Dwarves aren't given that much attention in RPGs and they are really awesome, so go you. I might throw in another under-used creature as well. A beorning, (not to be confused with my charrie Beör ) whom are skin-changers and able to change in to human form and in a bear. They have a dislike for dwarves, so maybe he can accompany that dwarf of yours?
Anyway, lets get SN back up to speed again! I promise to post soon.

Woot! That sounds like an awesome idea to me Will. I love the Beornings, and you are right; they don't get nearly enough love either. But yes, we should totally have them be pals-ish somehow, although I find it'd be very hard to take a Beorning captive.

I know, that's what I was thinking as well. But then, there isn't much known about the abilities of Beornings. Maybe they're only able to change into a bear when they're of a certain age, and possess a kind of magic, or when they are possess certain strength (perhaps not when they're still young and have the relative size of human beings)..
So I think there's enough room to play with that..

Beautiful SN posts, guys! <333 They’re both awesome; I really enjoyed reading them I’ll try and start on a reply soon. I’m sorry I haven’t been around a whole lot the past few days, but I’ve been feeling rather unwell. Anyhoo, Maeth, I’m so glad you like the prequel idea! I’ll definitely start plotting more about it now.
Also, it’s a brilliant idea to have dwarves and beornings in SN. *nods*
On a random note, I watched TTT and ROTK a while ago (both EE, of course!) and each time there were Mordor scenes, I thought of our prisoners trekking across the barren wasteland, or hiding from the Nazgul, stuff like that. =D And watching the Mouth of Sauron scene was fun because I’ve embellished on his character somewhat now, so it got me thinking about all of the events leading up to him meeting the allies at the Black Gate. (Though dang, he's so hideous )

I hope you're feeling well again Goldy! I think you do, because I just read your amazing post in our Freedom RPG!
So now Mae is also on the boat for the Prequel... lets PLOT! Who's this Black Numenorean and who's going to play him? How has he been able to turn Arawen? And does he know that Beör knows of the One Ring?
I'm really excited for this new RPG!
And that's what happened to me as well while watching ROTK. The movies are so inspiring! The Mouth was actually very strange when I first saw him. I had imagined him to be less hasty.

Thank you Will! I’m still feeling quite cruddy, but I just had to get a new Freedom post up – writing always cheers me up! =)
Hoozahs all round for the prequel! Righty then, here is the actor I want to use for the Black Numenorian… Oscar Isaac. =D http://www.saltypopcorn.com/images/bali ... orta-1.jpg
I haven’t decided on his name yet, but I’ll try and find one soon. And I haven’t quite decided everything about his history yet, but I do know that he’ll be the Mouth’s most powerful servant – he’ll have the place that Arawen has in the future. Since the story begins when Ararwen first arrives, she won’t have been turned yet; she’ll still be resisting, a lot like Luthien. ^_^ But he’s going to do his best to break her like the Mouth wants. Little does he know that when the Mouth finally bends her to his will, he’ll be on his way out! I can imagine a rivalry between him and Maethoriel, because she doesn’t like the power he wields. Maybe she'll imagine that if Arawen takes his place she’ll hardly be able to do her any harm, being “just a girl”. Big mistake!
We’ll have to see if this guy knows about the information Beör knows; he’ll definitely have an inkling that Beör knows something important. Personality-wise, this character will be quite violent; but he’ll also be sort of charming and have a way with words – he’ll be good at deceiving people and winning them round, making them think he’s really on their side. He might try and charm Arawen, actually – but his advances won’t be at all welcome.
btw, if you guys want to have a laugh at the Mouth’s expense, just watch this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NCZgjlMXwo

Oh poor you! I really hope you feel better now!
I've been listening to Mumford and Sons while writing my SN post, and I can really recommend their music. Especially Thistles and Weeds, White Blank Page, and I Gave You All are really intense.
Oscar Isaacs! Oh yes, he fits the bill! He was very very evil as King John in the newest version of Robin Hood. I think you might find some really good pics in those screencaps.
And I like how you describe him. A mean, cunning, and deceiving servant with an agenda of his own. I'm interested in how Arawen will be turned and broken. I think that change is really significant to the plot, and also for Beör since he would really have felt for Arawen, and tried to establish a friendship. Her change would also have triggered the change in his character, that he became more numb to the world because of her 'betrayal'.
And Maethoriel and Arawen are a dream team! She'll probably won't be happy about Arawen's arrival..
Haha! That vid was just hilarious! Those face of Legolas and Aragorn were just priceless with that song on the background.

Beör and Arawen probably have a very difficult relationship, I think, especially because he doesn't know that she was under spell and all, and he'll never understand why she was turned.
Mumford and Sons is very inspiring, but I've also listened alot to Ludovico Einaudi lately, who's just a genius.
Yes! I think we should make some nice banners for SN! Perhaps with our main charries and such.. Or a frontpage of our plotting thread just like Freedom! I'm still waiting for my Beör/Luthien banner from PD, and I'm sure it's going to be awesome!
And of course a name is in order for our new bad guy.. But I'm usually really bad in making up names. It should match with the character, the time in which the RPG plays, it should be original..

Oh that's an awesome title Goldy! I'm really excited as well!
And I listened to the song you recommended Goldy, and you were absolutely right! It fits Arawen perfectly! And like I said in my PM, I really think that my new charrie might help Arawen to heal. I'm really looking forward to playing him. His name will be Rhys by the way, and I already requested a banner with him and Beör from JF.
I'm also really curious how your banner of Luthien will turn out Goldy..
Also, I hardly dare to look at Mae's banner. Snakes creep me out, especially the green ones.

I'm currently working on my T&S post! I absolutely loved your post Goldy, Urúvion is very malicious indeed and I'm really curious why he's so interested in Arawen himself!
The comparison between Luthien and Arawen is striking and she's still very likeable now.
Ghehe, I'm not sure if there could be shipping, I think I first need to explore his character, but who knows? There might be..
And I think it's a great plan to have Urúvion in Nurn. He could have fled to Nurn after Twilight and Shadow and gained there power.
I can't listen to the song right now, but I will later, when I have the time!
Eeep! I'm so excited!
