Juno

I don't know what to think of it... and yet I still have an opinion. :P
A part of me really wants to like it; it's funny, witty, bright, sweet and quirky. But there is also so many odd ends that passes un-explained and I never get to know or feel anything for the characters... the supporting characters are just one-dimensional figures and even Juno keep a distance to her friends and family as well as to the audience... But yeah.. other than that a sweet movie. :P

Alice in Wonderland

The 2010 version, with Johnny Depp and Tim Burton. Uh yeah, not good, the visuals were unappealing, unconvincing and horrid. I enjoyed the knight though... But that was it.

AND THE DANCE SEQUENCE? WHAT IS THIS, SPIDERMAN III?

Do you mean Stayne? The tall aide to the Queen.

I definitely have a thing for Crispin Glover. :teehee:

Funny Face

"I love your Funny Face.... though you're no Mona Lisa for worlds I'd not replace... that sunny, Funny Faaaaace"

Fred Astaire & Audrey Hepburn = :notworthy:

He's the only reason I want to watch it again actually. And the Cheshire Cat. But mainly because he is a tall, dark, sexy eye patched villain.

OMG yes, I HATED the dance... absolutely god -awful... and then when SHE did it I wanted to hide from the embarassment.

I have a new favorite movie of all times!!! Little Miss Sunshine. It was so much more than I expected... even though this poor family was smitten by disaster and ruin worthy of a Greek tragedy they still managed to deal with it and even make me laugh and smile! I love and adore this movie. :D
I just saw Juno last night and didn't now what to think of it... I do now, for it is but a shadow compared to the Sunshine. ;) I sort of deals with the same quirky characters... but this film actually stays true to them. Brilliant!

Owh and allow me to join in the "Wth was the odd dancing about? Seriously?!!" However, I did appreciate the rest of the movie, if only for the pure genius that is Johnny Depp... and the Helena the-large-headed-queen Bonham-Carter! :P

Despicable me

AGNES!! She's so absolutely cute! She and her unicorns made my day! I just loved the movie it was so sweet, adorable and fluffy!

The Hunchback of the Notre Dame

My favourite Disney movie, and probably the darkest. I didn't really like it as much when I was little as I do now. But I just love the songs, the story, and it was just made with so much care for beauty and detail. Especially all the scenes in the Notre Dame.

"Live Free Or Die Hard"

Lots of explosions and gunfire and impossible feats that would normally cause broken bones and/or death but are always survivable. Wasn't anticipating much more than that, and I wasn't disappointed. :P

What I was disappointed with was the LAME death of the Major Head Honcho Bad Guy (who I actually thought was kind of a smart bad guy - lethal, cold blooded and no mercy XD). EVERY OTHER henchman bad guy survived ridiculous injuries, and then Thomas Gabriel dies from a gunshot wound shot THROUGH John McClane into Gabriel's shoulder? W T F. LAAAAAAME. WEAAAAAK. He deserved a much better end than that. But at least his beautiful face wasn't destroyed by some horrific explosion or some such nonsense. ;) *cough*

The Two Towers: Extended Edition

:swoon: WHY do I not watch these movies every week? WHY WHY WHY.

Favourite scenes: Gandalf's return as Gandalf the White, especially Aragorn's reaction. "You fell." Eowyn's leadership on the road to Helm's Deep and in Helm's Deep. Any scene with Theoden and Eowyn interacting. Any scene with Eomer in it. The charge of the Rohirrim. Aragorn trying to give the Evenstar back to Arwen, saying it was all a dream, and Arwen not buying the act for one second. The march of the Ents. Sam's speech. SAM'S SPEECH.

Oh, who am I kidding. How about THE WHOLE FREAKING MOVIE.

Next up: The Return of the King? I think so!

*GASP*

Did you not like the "milkshake" scene? I DRINK YOUR MILKSHAKE!

I think it is a beautiful film visually, and is just a film with a film that tells a story, admittedly slowly, but it's just whole appearance and everything is so different to a lot of films nowadays, that's one of the reasons I like it so much. Eli just creeped me out, Daniel Day Lewis was amazing. His accent was awesome. :p

The Passionate Friends - YES! Claude Rains got the girl!! Although, admittedly, who would want he? She was so boring and bland. :teehee:
