"Glorious 39"

So I though this was a good movie, despite the fact that I spent much of it being slightly confused and trying to figure out what was going on.

Cinematography-wise, it was absolutely gorgeous. Hands down, one of the best shot films I've seen in a long time. It also helped that wherever they shot in the UK was just STUNNING. It was a very interesting film - about a period in time that I guess is overlooked by most. Kind of fascinating.

Actor-wise? Awesome. Particularly two gentlemen. ;) Of course, teh JFishness would just LOOOOVE the fate of one of them. :duh: Jeremy Northam was SOOOO good. And so great at just being ... "spooky" as they called him. Would I be creeped out if I woke up and he was sitting at the end of my bed staring at me? Maybe, but I don't think I'd care. ;)

"The Crazies"

The remake. Not really what I was expecting, but that's a good thing. :P I thought it was pretty good, actually.

"What magic road can they not see?? Tell me, and I'll go!"

Yay! I'm so glad you actually liked this! I'd heard a lot from "critics" and such about how it wasn't good, which saddened me. I was still planning on seeing it anyway, so I'm glad there's at least one person (who's judgement I'll trust more) who enjoyed it. :)

The King's Speech
Brilliant. Of course.

I hardly ever listen to critics, or I try not to. :P And I actually remember seeing a trailer for it and thought it wouldn't be as good as it turned out to be. :P

BUT, it was good. At least in my opinion. It's strange and a little weird to get used to. But I think you'll enjoy it if you give your brain time to process what's going on. Ha ha ha!

Clue - Finally got to se this yay! Tim Curry is too awesome for words. Anyone who can keep such a blank face at th chaos around him is just :notworthy:. The final mad chase around the hous retelling the nights happenings was HILARIOUS! I prefer the ending where it wasn't anything to do with him. :P

Breakfast At Tiffany's - This movie proves you can dress up in £5000 clothes, but if you don't have class you aren't classy. Audrey Hepburn could wear newspaper and be classy. Absolutely amazing film. So sweet.

Yay! Another Clue watcher! :D It's my favorite movie - I can watch it multiple times in a row and still be happy. How could you not like his ending? It was so perfect! And you, a fan of bad guys....;)

a bunch of short experimental films. Including La Jetee and Necrology, my personal favorites of them.

I know! I liked the fact they all did someone in, but it would have been nice if it hadn't been the cliche "the butler did it". And the fact the crazy butler was the good guy all along. :P

The Sorceror's Apprentice - Oscar winning movie? No. Good, fun, entertaining 95 minutes. YES! Critics, get a proper job.

THE END

The Fall. Oh my gosh. The cinematography on this movie completely blew me away. So, so, so gorgeous. And basically everything shot on locations. Oh my. BEAUTY.

Ghost Rider

OMG! SO AWESOME! FLAMING SKULL ON MOTORBIKE + FLAMING COWBOY ON HORSE!!

I loved this film, the effects were amazing, Sam Elliot was so SEXY with that Western voice of his, and so awesome as the tall, mysterious Ghost Rider of the western years. LOVED the scene where he and Nic Cage rode out together into the west, both flaming and being totally kick ass whilst hearing "Ghost Riders in the Sky" twanging away in the background.

YES!

Isn't it a wonderful movie?! :-D I only had to see it because I loved the trailer (and its soundtrack) to death and I thought this was such a touching story, the cinematography is awesome! I believe the movie was shot in more than 18 countries! And of course is only the occurance of Beethoven's 7th symphony in the movie already a reason to watch it. :)

127 Hours

Again- and I loved it even better! :)

^Yeah! It was just...augh, so incredible!

Daniel Deronda - depressing. Hugh Dancy is pretty, but boy did it not turn out how I'd have liked.

The Lion King - GUYS, HANS ZIMMER wrote the soundtrack. I totally did not know that before. That explains why it is made of awesome.
