Tangled
You know... It just wasn't that good. I was really stoked to see it, after hearing that it was really good, almost like a classic Disney movie. But it just didn't do it for me. I was somewhere between a Pixar, and a Disney movie, but without the positives of either. Don't get me wrong, it was cute, I loved Pascal and Eugene, but it just didn't hold up to the hype that everyone had given it.
Nurreh, you are so adorable. I knew Hans Zimmer wrote the soundtrack when I was 4!

Aww, I'm sorry you didn't like it more Darky. But at least you enjoyed Pascal. He is such a cutie.
Lol, I knew about the Hans Zimmer connection ages ago as well Nurr.

Considering my music artist knowledge, I'm surprised I learned it this early.

Rango
Interesting. But having Bill Nighy as Rattlesnake Jake was pure genius. I love him so much.

^ It's a weird movie, that's for sure. It's beautiful, cinematically, the detail, and light, and the scales, and fur and feathers are gorgeous, but story wise, it dragged a little bit, but I figure it was worth the price of a movie ticket, for a few hours escape. I think you'll also enjoy the other Johnny Depp movie references, PotC, Fear and Loathing, Sweeny Todd. And BILL NIGHY. He definitely made it so worthwhile. But yeah, either wait and rent it, or pay to see it at a cheap theater. I went on half price Tuesday so.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Mmm... Davy Jones.

Oliver Twist (2005) on TV. I've seen a different version before that I really loved (the one with Elijah Wood as the Dodger), so I must say I was disappointed when it was this version. I didn't much care for it either; I just finished the book yesterday and this movie felt like they'd just taken certain parts of the book and put them on screen without taking the time to make the story flow and without paying any attention at all to the parts they didn't include. In short, I'm not impressed.

"Secretariat"
Pretty good. At first, I kind of felt like the movie itself was king of full of itself. But after a while, I got into it and by the end I really loved it. I think because it eventually became more about the horse and not so much the people, which I enjoyed. The music was great, and really cinematic. Overall, good movie.
"10 Things I Hate About You"
SUCH a brilliant movie. I will NEVER ever get tired of it. It's so intelligently funny. And just flat out good. The scene with Heath singing with the marching band cracks me up EVERY time. And then I always wish why no one has ever done that for me? LOVE THIS MOVIE.

FotR and TTT. I'm just about to watch RotK. Why yes I'm having a (semi-)marathon. I love how I can still find things I haven't noticed before and how every time I watch these movies I get to know the characters better. Like how Legolas is prone to the whole run-stop-say line-keep running thing No, but really. When I watched TTT again it struck me how worried Boromir looks when Denethor tells him to go to Rivendell. Like he knows the Ring will be too great a temptation for him. Which bring a whole new level of depth to his character that you don't get through FotR and the regular version of TTT. Just those little things that you notice more and more of every time you watch these glorious movies

YOU ARE MY TWIN.
Seriously. This is literally next up in my Netflix queue (though I need to see Glorious 39 first, since that's what I have now ).
Just watched The Thin Blue Line.
