My childhood right there. And now I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street. Tim Burton at his best. :)

***SPOILERS***SPOILERS***SPOILERS***
Both my brother and I are slightly bewildered though. You know in the scene towards the end where Sweeney discovers the identity of Lucy and after Mrs Lovett was thrown into the oven, I said out loud "this is when the axe comes, right?" and my brother was in agreement. And then.. there was no axe. Just a slit of the throat with the razor. And we were sort of shocked as we had both clearly remembered an axe from when we saw it last (at the cinema three years ago). Neither of us were sure if we remembered the axe being used for decapitating Sweeney or just shoved into his head or back, but we both had the vision of an axe. He even thought of the axe before I had even mentioned it. Why would we do that if it apparently doesn't happen in the film?! Are there different versions of the ending or have we both been hallucinating for three years?

^I've personally never seen one, in all the times I've watched the movie. That's so weird though, that both of you remember the same thing :P

I know with a lot of movies, there are scenes that don't make it into the DVDs, I can't think of any off the top of my head, but me and my dad always pick out scenes that are in the cinema releases, but not in the DVDs. You two aren't going crazy :P

Paul

Mediocre. The trailer made it look way cooler than it actually was.

Lake Placid. Bill Pullman and Oliver Platt in the same film together = epic win!

I know, but this wouldn't be a deleted scene or an extended scene that is left out on the DVD, this would mean an entirely different ending.

I definitely do not remember a scene with an axe, just Toby quietly slitting Sweeney's throat, while Sweeney kinda knew something was coming from behind. I really would have remembered something like that, as it was the first 18 I saw in the cinema and I was savouring every bloody detail.

Lte's Make Love - Only watched it for the genius that is Tony Randall and he spoke like 6 words. *sad face*

I'm going to have to go with teh JFishness on this one, mah Swedish Fisheh. But I have been in the same situation, though. :P There have been times that I've seen a movie in the theatre and then when it comes out on DVD or whatever, I would SWEAR that a scene went a different way. But in this case, I'm going to have to agree with teh JFishness. No axe. And I'm trying to remember everything about the ending in the production I saw, and I have no recollection of an axe. Just the scariest child that I've ever seen. :P

"Inception"

I finally got to see it. Annnnnnnd, I loved it. Verrrrry cool. Christopher Nolan ftw. There wasn't a single thing I didn't like about it. Which is a pretty impressive feat. I wasn't confused or mindboggled or anything like that, though. Ha ha ha! It was pretty easy to follow. But I was mind blown at just how cool it was. The idea that what you believe to be your reality might not be was pretty interesting. Which, after I watched it, I realized that for someone who already has really intense dreams on a consistent basis, it probably wasn't the best film to watch just before I went to bed.

"Despicable Me"

LOOOOOOOVED it! Oh my god, it was so good! VERY funny and very clever. There was a moment that just cracked me up; it wasn't spoken, but just a little addition that I'm sure not everybody saw.

"Bank of Evil: Formerly Lehman Bros." Yes. I'm a dork. But I just busted up when I saw that. :P

And I had no idea Julie Andrews was Gru's mother. Brilliant!

The Lord of the Rings The Return of the King

I cried like a baby, all the way through this movie. I haven't done that since the first few times I watched it. For some reason it affected my so deeply this time around, my emotions are so raw after watching it, I haven't felt like this in ages. It's refreshing. and I forgot how much I love these movies, the cinematography, the actors, the colours, the music, the special effects. Everything.

Hidalgo

Had to treat myself to some more Viggo love. Augh. He's is just so fine, like... Wow. Especially at that age! MARRY MEEE.

Dark: I watched it last week! I didn't cry all the way through, but I wailed like a baby at the Grey Havens, and I haven't done that in a while.
