@teh Ea: The best part about Kingdom of Heaven is the music. And Alexander Siddig. Fir wrote: Michael Sheen is the best! I like him in Underworld as Lucian. Great character and he looks amazing! I always manage to forget that he's in Underworld, and then I see him and think, "Who IS that guy?! WHY does he look so deliciously familiar? OHHH YEAH." "The King's Speech"What can I say other than I LOVED IT. ALL OF IT. I LOVE COLIN FIRTH. AND GEOFFREY RUSH. LOVE LOVE LOVE. "The Hurt Locker"My favourite scene is in the grocery store at the end. An entire row dedicated to dozens of different kinds of cereal. Really makes some of the things we take for granted quite obnoxious and so unnecessary. Definatley makes you take a step back.

I started watching 300, and it was pretty good, but Mom hadn't known it was rated R, and she kind of found out when one of the more R-rated scenes came on... ehhr... But then she made me EJECT it and I didn't even get to stare obsessively at uh I mean, see, David Wenham Which made me incredibly sad, needless to say. But we got to watch Return of the King instead and I got to stare at Faramir instead, which was even better

^ Poor you! I watched plenty of R-rated films when I was in my early teens (or even younger than that). I mean, I watched Silence Of The Lambs in 5th grade, haha.
The age certification isn't really a big issue in Sweden. Sure, to be able to see films in the movie theater, you need to be of the correct age (General/All ages, 7, 11 or 15), but at home it doesn't matter. Also, we're much more lenient with nudity, sex, profanity or drug references. Violence, horror and gore will always be a 15 rating whereas movies rated G, 7 or 11 can sometimes feature nudity, profanity or sex. Borat was rated R in the US but it was rated G in Sweden. The same thing with American Pie. 300 was rated 15 in Sweden, not for the nudity or profanity but for the violence and gore.

Yeah... Violence? Nothing wrong with that. Profanity? No problem. But that one scene? Graaaargh. I wanna see that movie!

In a few years time you'll be able to see whatever movie you want, so hang in there!
It's been 12 years since I was 15, so I've kind of forgotten what it was like not being able to see films due to age.

It's a shame you were already into the film, but I think films are rated for a reason and although it depends on the parents when in your own home... I guess parents know what is suitable for you. Although I think a LOT of parents don't give a damn what they're kids watch and the kind of things they learn from films. But I know I watched some PG films which are now a 12 when I was a lot younger than the recommended age group. But other than that my parents said what I could and couldn't watch and I was OK with that.
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole
Can I just say officially, I love David Wenham. Seriously, he stole this film voicing a BLOODY OWL! He is the most underrated LOTR actor. He needs to make more films. He needs to be the main cast member. He needs to play romantic leads in comedies. NOW. He needs to visit me.

^ I loved that movie, saw it three times. Made me want to get a pet owl. xD
The Green Hornet; Meh, was disappointed. That actor, Seth Rogen (?), I dislike a lot... Jay Chou on the other hand was very cute.

I wanted to see that but didn't have the cash... And he's not underrated! Not with me anyway, I have posters of him as Faramir all over the walls of my room. And as wallpaper for both of my phones. Hehh. But yeah, I reeeaaally wish he was in more movies that Mom would let me see so that I could stare at him more... HE'S SO HOT! A random question: do y'all think I'm weird?

oh Michael Fassbender you make my pants so happy. Bit of an underrated little movie this. Neil Marshall is one of my fave directors and he did not disapoint with this.

I saw Hanna in theatres a couple of weeks ago. It was cool, stylish and interesting.
Can't remember the MOST recent movie I watched at home though...

Went to the theater the other night to see Arthur with some friends. Was pleasantly surprised - I was expecting just another pointless, crude comedy - not my style. But I found it was a lovely movie with a sweet romance.
I don't watch non-animated movies that often. XD /childish

I saw World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles.
It was a dramatic American hero sort of thing-movie. I enjoyed it:D It was very funny
