I just finish reading If I Stay, by Gayle Forman, tried to get her other book, the second one to this but not got in stock. So in the end I brought The Guardian Angel's Journal, by Carolyn Jess-Cooke! I was going to keep the book my sister got me for Christmas for the holiday, as well get another book and read the Two Towers! And i meant to finishing a rather strange book called Ash, a rather strange take on a fairy tale by author i never heard of! Not doing so well!

I just read "Seabiscuit" by Laura Hillenbrand. Yes, I know it's been out a while, but it was a fantastic book I found at HPB.

Just finished The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss -- one of the best books I have *ever* read. Currently reading The Shadow Dragons, book four in The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica Series, by James A. Owen; terribly fasinating with such jaw-dropping connections which can only be explained or understood by reading the book! Definitely recommend both, especially for Tolkien fans.

Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
Been wanting to read it since before the HBO adaptation(which I haven't seen)
I love the Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica! Though I've only read Here There Be Dragons and the Search for the Red Dragon.

Yay, I bought that book ages ago but never had the time to read it.. but now I really want to... I just finished a book dealing with knowledge and information and how posessing it and using it is to hold (manipulative) power in society.. quite interesting.

I finished the fourth one last night and now about to start the fifth one, The Dragon's Apprentice. I am glad someone else has read them! Ea wrote: Yay, I bought that book ages ago but never had the time to read it.. but now I really want to... Oh, you definitely should! I've read it twice now, because the second one just came out after being pushed back for over a year ! I think you would definitely love it though!

those books you just read sound good, TR. I've been needing some summer literature, so I'll check out the library. I just finished reading "poemcrazy" by Susan Goldsmith Wooldridge. my uncle gave it to me and it turned out to be a very refreshing, eye-opening look at freelance poetry. I really like her style and the way she taps into her creativity. I actually scribbled down a few lines that turned into a poem (!) thanks to the book.
