''You need not ask. I offer to buy it for you. May she try it on?'' now addressing the shopkeeper.
''Of-course'' he handed the dress to her and indicated to a back room where she could change.
''Go, try it on. I will wait'' Giving her his stubborn look again.
As she left to change he turned to the shopkeeper, and making sure Nienna was out of earshot he asked the price.
The shopkeeper replied slowly, as if bearing bad news '' at the very least 150.'' Seeing the look on Niko's face he added,'' though I can give it to you in exchange for a favor.''
Niko paused, thinking. ''What type of favor?''
''There is one, Bob Ferny, who thinks himself above everyone else. He forces me to pay him a sum each time I earn money under threat of pain. If you would persuade him to leave me alone I would be grateful'' he replied shortly.
Niko considered his request. For Nienna
''Very well, consider it done. ''
He turned, waiting for Nienna.

Noting the stubborn look on his face, she again resigned herself. She walked to the back room, closing the door silently. She slipped out of her clothes, and into the dress. It slid over her, and, she notes almost with panick, fit like a glove. The neckline was low and wide, not what she was use to, yet it seemed to flatter her. It fell to the floor, yet she could walk without stepping on it. She braided her hair over her shoulder so the back of the dress could be viewed in the mirror. She was taken aback at how feminine she looked, not use to it. And she had been correct about it showing her figure. It hugged her figure, but not so it felt uncomfortably physically. Mentally it was a different story. The sleeves hugged her arms till they came to her elbows, then fell loose and cascaded down in satin waterfalls. She called through the door "Must I come out?" her voice nearly squeaked, she thought with dismay.

After being told where he could find Bob Ferny he heard Nienna's words.
Smiling at what she said, ''If you would prefer, I will come in'' half joking, half serious.
''I doubt you could look bad, even if you attempted to''

She would actually prefer him to come in "Would you, please?" this may be better dealt with in private. She stood looking in the mirror, just staring at her reflection. Her cheeks were rosy, and her eyes were shining with unshed tears. She could see herself marrying him in this dress, and she knew she wanted it. But she knew it would be expensive.

He had not been entirely serious when he spoke but he decided to humor her.
Giving the shop keeper a curt nod before he went and entered the room, closing the door softly behind him. He turned to look at her, and was stunned.
Angel There was no other words to describe how she looked. Before he could stop himself he drew her into an embrace and kissed her. ''My angel'' his voice barely above a whisper. ''This must be the dress'', taking in every detail of her appearance. He knew that that was indeed the dress she should wear at the wedding, regardless of price.

She was shocked at his reaction, and kissed him back "But, Niko, it must be so much..." her voice drifted off as she met his gaze and saw the love there. He would not accept a no, she realized. She almost felt exposed by the figure hugging dress, and blushed red from her shoulders all the way to her hairline. "Don't you think it's too...too..." She didn't know what word to use. The word revealing came to mind, yet she was embarrassed to say it.

''It's perfect for you. You should not worry about being embarrassed, it shall just be us, and of course the one marrying us. I rather like it'' He stroked her thigh with a mischievous smile on his face and pulled her into another kiss, slightly more aggressive, his hand remaining on her thigh.

She gasped, and the same feeling she had in the cave returned, and it was still new to her. Her reaction, her soaring emotions surprised even her. She kissed him back, equally aggressive. The feeling of him kissing her like this, and his hand on her leg...yes, she was going crazy. And she liked it. A small moan seized her throat as she enjoyed the way he made her feel.

Pulling her closer to him , he put his hand to the back of her thigh and slowly moved upwards, enjoying how she felt.
He was enjoying this, the added excitement due to where they were helping his enjoyment.
He kissed her, just as aggressive as before -
''Is the dress to your liking?'' he heard the voice of the shopkeeper.
He broke the kiss and began to laugh at their antics.
''Yes,'' he called, giving her behind a quick squeeze '' it is much to my liking''
He winked at her, his eyes twinkling.

Her breath cought at his hand moved, and her hands moved over his chest, he began kissing her again and- the shop keeper called in. Her lips parted, and her eyes got very wide. He squeezed her bottom, and she jumped, then giggled at his wink. "Yes! Yes, it is." she hoped the shop keeper would not notice how breathless she was. She pulled Niko's arms from around her. "I must change," she giggled, "Out." she made shooing motions with her hand, laughing as she knew her face was even more crimson than before.

''You will wear this at our wedding''
He looked over his shoulder and as she asked him to leave he put on a frown. ''May I not stay and watch?''
Noticing how red she was he left with a grin in her direction.
''We will take it'' he told the shopkeeper.

She laughed at his impish grin and closed the door behind him, she leaned back against it and calmed her breathing. She changed back and walked out, dress in hand. "Shall we leave it here till we are ready to pick it up?" she asked, only her cheeks were now retaining the blush.

''Yes that would be fine'' the shopkeeper said, bowing courteously to them both. '' Return whenever you wish and it shall be waiting for you madam.''
''Thank you very much'' Niko smiled at him, grateful for his generosity.
He looked to Nienna.
''Do you wish to go anywhere else, darling ?'' He smirked at how red her cheeks were, no doubt due to what they were doing minutes earlier before they had been interrupted.

She noticed the smirk, giving him a mock glare before smiling. "Maybe we should go back to the inn and get our staying arrangements set up." plus she wanted to get chatty with the innkeeper's wife. She liked her, she seemed easy to talk to. She remembered the woman's knowing smile when she asked her about the dress shop.

He nodded, agreeing. ''Very well. I shall meet you there soon. I just need to see to some business and I shall return.
Will you be alright in my absence?''
He was going to see to Ferny now so as to make sure there would be no complications with the dress and so the rest of their day could pass pleasantly.
He hoped she wouldn't be too suspicious.

She frowned in confusion, but figured he had his reasons. "Yes, love, I shall be alright." she reached up, giving him a kiss on the cheek before heading back to the inn where she got the room ready and talked with the woman. Later, she went up and laud down for a nap, hoping Niko would return soon.
