Several of my friends use GIMP for graphics-making, and they like it just as much as, if not more, than they like photoshop. *shrug* I've never made any graphics, so I'm not much help here.

As for pictures, some of the ones Alanna posted on this page are absolutely gorgeous and are just begging to be put in a banner!

Really? I've never used photoshop, and this is my fist time doing anything at all with images, other than adjusting the brightness and small things like that.

Oh! Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! It's not exactly a "banner" but once I figure it all out, I'm sure I'll get better.

It was hard to choose the pictures! Most of them were either too small, or cut off at the shoulders, so I finally found the one of him in the leather jacket (which he looks great in!)

you could try making wallpapers with that sort of size - you can fit more stuff in them than a banner.

I finished a couple more Lijah banners, but I'll post them once I have a few more
