"Shh...There is no need for an apology Callie." He whispered softly. His hand moved up to cup her chin. He stroked it gently before tilting her head up to face him. Brown eyes met brown eyes for just a moment. Thoril sighed softly, his lips meeting hers.

She blinked, then let her eyes close as she returned his kiss, a hand going to the back of his head as her other rested on his shoulder. She didn't know what this would turn into in the future, but she did know she was content to live it for now.

Thoril kissed her softly, his hands holding her close to him. This was what he had been waiting for. This was the reason he had stayed so long. He had finally found a reason to stay somewhere. Who knew what the future held. All he knew was that he wanted to stay with Callie for as long as he could.

She sighed as she broke the kiss and looked up at his eyes, searching them. A blush slowly covered her cheeks as she smiled shyly. "you...sti...still need to try my bread." she stuttered.

Thoril raised his brow. "Try your bread?" He smirked slightly. Thoril raised his hand to Callie's cheek, running his thumb over her blush. "You have no idea how cute you are right now." He chuckled as he gazed into her eyes.

She swallowed and squeaked "C..cut?" she blinked at him. She would still need to get use to that. She turned even darker as his thumb ran down her cheek.

"Yes. Cute." Thoril grinned as he kissed her cheek. He stepped back from her and wandered into the kitchen. He found the bread Callie had spoke of and cut four slices from it. His next stop was in the pantry he gathered some found and began to prepare some lunch. A smile grew upon his face. Thoril did love to cook when he had the time and the luxury of good food at his hands. When he was ready he returned to Callie, a plate in each hand. "I hope you do not mind.." he said, realising how rude he must have been to let himself in to her pantry and use her food. He grimaced slightly.

She blinked as she watched him. "What? Oh! I do not mind!" she grinned at him "I may hire you to donthat everyday!" she stared at the food in his hand. "You might be a better cook than me." she laughed out.

"Well then, Thoril at your service ma'am." He tipped his head to her, grinning broadly. "Do enjoy," he said as he set the plate down in front of her. "I doubt I am a better cook than you though. I am afraid my skills in the kitchen are a bit rusty. You do not spend much time in the kitchen when travelling..."

"Indeed! That is true, however, you certainly top me in speed." she laughed, then had an idea. "Would you like to site in the garden while we eat? I have a place set up out back."

"That sounds perfect to me," he smiled as he followed her out into her garden. It was beautiful, not that he had expected anything different. To him, Callie seemed to be someone who would take pride in her home. Her garden certainly reflected this. He wandered to the place, he assumed Callie had meant and took a seat. He watched Callie as she approached him with a soft smile.

She took the seat next to him. "Don't you just love gardens?" she smiled at him as she began to eat. "Have you found a place yet?" she inquired and tilted her head slightly.

"I do. The greatest gift of the garden is the restoration of the five senses." He frowned at her question. "I am afraid I have not had time to find a permanent place to stay yet. In truth I was not sure I was going to stay. I assumed you had left and nothing else was really keeping me here. I had a letter of notice prepared to give to my employer at the end of the week." He smiled again. "At least now I do not have to do that. I will set to finding a home when I leave here. Would that be alright with you?" He asked suddenly.

She blinked "Well, yes!" she laughed, happy that he had intended to stay. She grinned at him. "Then you can come over more often and cook." her eyes twinkled.

"I would like that very much." Thoril finished his lunch and stood up. "Well...to that end I best get on with finding a place to stay before my day off ends," he smiled. He leaned down onto one knee and placed a kiss on the back of Callie's hand. "I do hope to see you soon."

She smiled at him "I am sure you will." she then reached forward and hugged him. "Thank you for stopping." she closed her yes and smiled.
