Um...hello! My name is Cat's I and I'm new here! I love, love, love Tolkien and I've read as many as his books as I can get my grubby little hands on. I found this website about a year ago, but for some reason or another, my application didn't go through. I still wanted to be a part of this place, though, so I - sorry to say - lurked for a few months. Then I abandoned the site for a while, and when I came back, everything was all new and shiny! I was so excited about all the changes that my mouse just jumped up and hit the Register button all on its own.

Anyway, I love reading, writing, archery and knitting (among other things), and I'm really looking forwards to being part of this forum!

This site is really cool, I've learned a lot of stuff and the pictures are amazing! I was young when they made the movies, but I recently started reading the books. I'm on the last one right now (I actually skipped the Hobbit though, it wasn't as exciting as I had imagined it). But I still love Lord of the Rings regardless

You too? Sam here, Ardhoniel! Do you drive your family crazy with LotR? I sure do! They have a rough time getting me to shut up about it! I was trying to get me little sister to eat a red apple (she only likes green ones), and I said, "Why don't you try eating a red one? Merry eats red ones! *under my breath: well, I guess it was actually Dominic Monaghan, not Merry, but then again . . .* " And she says, "I don't care!" But that's only because she hasn't seen the films or finished listening to the LotR trilogy. I forced my Mom, brother, and little sister to listen to LotR on CD in the car! They hate me now!
