Oooh, that's from the FotR EE, when they come across the Wood Elves who are on their way to the Grey Havens! (Aerli, have you seen the extended editions? They are AMAZING). His eyes do look exceptionally blue there, but that's how they look on the DVD, too, probably because in that scene it's early evening and the elves are giving off a sort of blue-ish glow. Very pretty. <3

Oh! Yes!!! I LOVE the EE!!! In June and July, they were playing LotR in EE in the theaters! I went to the FotR and TTT, but I was not able to go see the RotK, unfortunately. I think the EE really bring more of the book into the movie, which I really like.

I love the EE too. As Dom said once, "It's the only way to get it." I went to those EE showings in the theatre, too, Aerli! Only I had to work the night they were showing RotK. It was still incredible, though. It felt like I was finally seeing them the way they are meant to be seen, on the big screen.

I love watching the cast commentaries on the EE, too--you get such a broader perspective of what it was like to make these movies. Plus, Elijah is supremely awesome and hilarious on the commentary tracks.

Yes!!! He was right! I mean, I don't own the EE, but I have the regular ones, and when I heard there was an EE, I was like, What?! Gosh! I wish I'd known that BEFORE I'd ask for LotR for Christmas!"

I just started reading the Hobbit and now I'm almost done. I thought it looked stupid but it's so awesome! And I lent my cousins the FotR since they've never seen it before. They don't usually like that kind of stuff, but after I got them hooked on the TV show Supernatural, they've opened up a little and trust me XD
The littlest one thought it looked like a little kid's book. I was like "noooooo no no." haha

Yes, Ari! Sometimes, I feel more like crying on some days than I do others. But then, it kind of feels good to let it all out (when no one's watching of course!). Oh! Yes! They all did such an amazing job! I love to stare at Elijah's eyes when they focus the camera there!

LOL, I think everyone focuses on Elijah's eyes when they're on screen. They're hypnotic. I'm glad Peter Jackson chose to have so many closeups in the films.
