Hello guys! I'm Naerwen you might have seen me kicking about the LOTR rp board. I've been looking around the non-lotr rp board and I have hand some ideas for some new ones. However I do not want to start one for no-one to be interested. Therefore i thought it would be a good idea to kick some ideas around here first and see what was most popular.

The first idea I had was a Charmed inspired rp. I was late in joining the Charmed bandwagon and when I did join it I loved it. I believe I watched all the seasons in about 3 weeks. I figured just starting at the start and going through it. Relive it I guess. Let me know what you guys think or even if you have any ideas to make this idea better.

Second one was a Harry potter style rp. I used to do it alot with a friend and really kind of miss doing it. It was incredibly fun to play all the different characters from harry potter. With this I would not mind where we started. That would be down to popular choice.

Third...I say this nervously because I understand that this book/movie tends to be accepted with mixed emotions. As much as I love it I understand if it bombs. However here goes...Twilight? I will leave it at that for now.

As you can see they are based on tv programmes or films. I haven't yet had the inspiration to do something original. I think I want to play around a little first before I venture to do that. Let me know what you think. Don't be afraid to be brutally honest. The wounds will heal!

I'd join a Twilight RP too, I love the whole vampire thing, although... the franchise wasn't for me, but I'd still love to join providing it isn't strictly cannon (Never read the books and only read one book..) I like my vampires more scary than sparkly... I do love the idea of vampire nobility though You might have to put up with my charrie being very old and contemptible


And I've been thinking of starting an HP RP myself! i was going to make it Marauder-style, but what did you have in mind?

I would absolutely join the Marauder RPG Rhav, even if my AU-time is quite these days.. I've attemtped twice to set up such an RPG (for the last attempt go HERE) but both attempts failed miserably. So if you would start one again, I would love to join with one of the Maurauders (Sirius! ).

I'll get set on a twilight rpg then Would it be terribly awful of me if I took the part of Bella and/or Alice? Secondly where would be the most popular place to start? I am very new to starting rpgs so the help would be greatly appreciated.

Also I love the idea of a marauders rpg. Any chance Lupin is up for grabs? Could I take him? Hehe!

Sure XD No, I'd love a Marauders RP, and since I'll be off to uni as well in a couple of weeks a slightly slower moving RP would be quiet good

So we'd have Sirius, Lupin and Regulus (sorry, always loved the idea of the younger brother who can't quite break away ) already taken. Not sure what sort of concept to use though...

My first idea was like your last one Will, and I'd have them in their last year ^^ Second version is they've left school, the Potters marry and life works out from there, with each charrie already working

I'm in favour of both options. We could also start in the last few weeks for the exams, then there's still a bit of Hogwarts and around that time Dumbledore founded the Order of the Phoenix. But after is also fine by me. Maybe James and Lilly's wedding would then be a nice place to start..

Edit: And also.. slow-paced RPGs are gooooood!

I think that's the best idea ^^ Now we only need an intro post... Or a name... How about- 'Say Goodnight, not Goodbye' or 'Sleeping with eyes wide open' ... What do you guys think?
