And I was soo convinced Tyler was going to do the right thing, but I guess his bond with Klaus is just too strong.. Too bad for Caroline though, she deserves someone nice after all the things she's been through.
And I really start to dislike Stefan..

I'm glad the tension between Damon and Elena is still there, for me it's one of the best parts of the show I was also pleasantly surprised to see a certain Original return, I'm sure that will pep things up a bit!
And I was moved by the efforts Tyler made to make it up to Caroline. It seems he really cares about her, if he wants to do all that so he won't hurt her again

Ok, I cannot read this thread because I just started watching the 3rd season. Just wanted to say THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD. Sometimes new seasons can be shaky...but so far it's everything I want and more.

^ Hehe you're soo right! When I want to talk about it, I try to keep it as cryptic as possible, so I won't spoil it for others. Especially with a show like this, with so much going on at the same time, it's terrible if you already know what's going to happen.

Thats why a lot of posts on here are like 'oh my gosh Tyler and Caroline!' followed by somethin like 'oh i know right?! crazy!' or stuff like 'mmmm Damon!' 'did you see?' 'oh yeah, he totally was!'. Half the time I dont even know what storyline some of the posts are about!!

Actually, I just finished reading the first three books. "The Awakening" , "The Struggle" and "The Fury" I love the whole story and....

@TheEvenStar: You should check out the Stefan's Diaries books too, I love those! They go along with the tv show better, and tell the story of the Salvatore brothers and how they came to be vampires, and what they did after. And I agree, Damon =

The first 4 books of Vampire Diaries are good, but I'm not a big fan of The Return series that comes after books 1-4. It started off alright, but then it got sort of strange. Its funny how the show hardly follows the books at all, except for some character names and basic backgrounds.
