Cale stepped back, away from the group. His expression fixed in a nearly permanent scowl. "Now that I have practically spilled my guts telling you my business, I shall be off and try to prevent more people from dying. I've wasted too much time."

Marylyn drew her eyes away from the nameless man to the man known as Tawry. "Mae govannen," she smiled slightly, bowing her head in welcome.

Tawry smiled. "Mae govannen, Marylyn. Mae govannen, Nesselde."
Nessa said, "Tawry, how long until the others come?"
Tawry looked at her. "I think about a day."
"I can't believe I'm saying this," Nessa said under her breath. She turned to the nameless man. "Please wait until the EYES get here. They may help you."

"I don't need help! How many times must I tell you!?" a thick accent suddenly permeated his words. A brogue that rarely came out unless he was extremely frustrated.

"And now you have an accent!" Nessesle said.

He made a choking, frustrating sound and threw up his hands. "For th' last time, woman, I don' need your help!" his 'R's rolled off his tongue, and the accent itself made his voice sound even more deep and gravelly than it already was. "Why must I dig myself into these damned moments?!" he said more to himself than anyone else.

Marylyn too, focused on the man's strange accent. There was something almost familiar about it, she wasn't quite sure though. "What is your name? And where do you come from? What harm will it do for you to answer that?" she asked, glancing around at the others momentarily.

"The harm is that I don' wan' ye to know! How hard is it for you thick headed women to understan that!" he raked a hand through his hair, glowering.

Marylyn's eyes darkened. "Have it your way," she snarled, her patience running thin. "Far be it for me to help a man who does not deserve it."

"I told you, I do not wan' your help, already!" he rolled his eyes. He was beginning to repeat himself. He didn't like having to repeat himself at all!

"Have fun getting yourself killed." Nessa said.She stepped behind one of the horses.

Tawry smiled slightly. Nessa's sarcasm amused him. "I hope you know, if you don't let us help, we'll follow."

"And if you follow, I'll have to kill you so he doesn't. You would far better wish me to do so, for I would have mercy. Do not follow me. I have had enough of you humans and your stubborn pride that won't let someone go without implant every damn thing about them." he snarled, his voice thick with his accent.

Marylyn snickered at Tawry's remark. She could not deny its truth. "What is wrong with a bit of help, regardless if you need it or not. Could come in handy. I am sure we all not without skill. If we are lacking any, the train us." she whispered faintly, drawing her horse to her.
