Logan tightened his jaw. "You must give us all the information that you can. We cannot let him take another life." He stepped towards the man and passed him more wood and brush from the area.

Nessa carefully slunk through the bushes, following the trail left by the man. She stopped when the trail ended suddenly.

Tawry was several paces back when he saw Nessa stop by a small stream. He saw the discouraged look on her face, and decided to go ahead. "Follow me," he quickly whispered.

Cale shook his head. "You should stop interfering in where you are not welcome." his hard eyes met the eyes of the other man. They were obsidian, full of rage and sorrow.

"Sir I can understand that you are hurt and angry, but please do not let that anger cloud your vision. This man must be stopped, before he takes another life." He stepped forward, his brown eyes almost pleading. "Please can you give us all that you know of this man?"

"You don't understand." Cale growled as he lit the brush around his daughter. "You never will."

Eonwe glanced around the forest. It was pitch black, cold, and she had been lost for what seemed like ages. Her long red hair hung in a stringy, grungy curtain down her back. There was mist in the air, and the scent of death. She carried on, ungracefully tripping over rotten logs and stones.

"Sir," Marylyn addressed the man known as Logan. "This line of questioning has already been followed and we are none the wiser for it." Her eyes moved to the ground, her feet shuffling nervously.

"I see," Logan sighed faintly. "Well we'll just need to find him on our own. I suggest a search party. If we are all in we could split up into groups and search the forest for him or any clues he may have left."

"Don't ye even think about it!" Cale roared. "Do you want to die? Do you want him to hunt your loved ones down and slaughter them?" he growled. "If you leave him be, then he leaves you alone."

Eonwe saw a speck of firelight. Just a speck through the trees. "Hello?" she called faintly, almost frightened.

Oldin sighed. "Enough. Logan, please split the team into groups."
He heard the faint voice coming from somewhere in the trees. He walked into the trees, looking for its source. He saw a dirty red-haired woman approaching the camp. Oldin called out a greeting.

Cale growled in frustration. "Ifn ye find him and make him angry, it shall be you and only you left t' deal with the consequences. I'm don't."

Eonwe jumped when someone actually replied, but she quickened her pace. "Can you help me, milord? I am terribly sorry.." she slowed as she got closer, cautious. Who knew if this person was friendly? He could be a friend of...she shivered and got rid of that thought.

Nesselde looked over. "Hello." she said to the woman who had just come into their camp.

Logan nodded to Oldin and began to arrange his troops when he suddenly realised there was a newcomer. He found it odd to find so many people in one place. It was almost as though this Mage was drawing them to him. He suddenly became suspicious. What if this girl was not who she seemed? Logan turned to watch, his suspicion hidden from his features.

Marylyn failed to keep her eyes of the man. How could he not want to help them put a stop to this creature? Was it fear that motivated? If so, then that said a lot about what they soon would be facing. Like the others, her attention turned to the newcomer. "Mae govannen." She greeted, bowing her head.

"Of course, milady" Oldin said. The woman looked tired. "Come." He said motioning toward the fire.

Cale turned his back to the group, neither interested or pretending to be interested in the newcomer. He had washed his hands of them completely.

Eonwe slowly crept closer to the fire. As she got into the light, it was clear she was under fed. She seemed to be just skin and bones, and there were scars as well as raw red marks around her ankles and wrists where there had been shackles. She held her hands out to the fire. "Thank you...I'm lost. I know there should be a vinyard around here somewhere, but I got turned around.."

"You did get turned around," Oldin said, smiling slightly. He gave her some food. "The vineyard is about a mile southeast."
