Dang, now I want pumpkin pie! Even though its September the weather today felt pretty cool, compared to what we've been having recently, definitely felt like fall! Made me want all those fall treats even more! Oh, guess what GP! Both RDJr and Jude Law want to make a Sherlock Holmes 3, and there is a script in the works! Its all just a matter of when they are gonna have time to do it. Both actors have quite a few projects lined up, but hopefully they find time to do another Holmes movie soon!!!

It looks rather unappetizing, sorta puky pink with chunks in it. But it is sweet and chewy and a little tart. Its good. I think its my favorite kind of pie.

Nonetheless, that is awesome noose ..I have to stop because I actually just wrote 'noose' instead of 'news.' I couldn't bring myself to erase it, that was... I don't even... Um, anyway, yes. Pumpkin pie. That sounds excellent--today was very autumnal, with cold blustery wind and crunchy leaves on the sidewalk, so I'm in the mood for fall food.

Same here. Yesterday and today have both been sunny, windy, and temps in the 60's. It's been absolutely beautiful. Took the dog for a walk and decided it is now time for apple orchards.

I love apple orchards! There's one not far from my school, so occasionally, corridors will go on apple-picking trips together (they have some pretty tasty fudge, as well).

Yeah, I heard about the SH3! I'm soooo excited!!!!!!!!! I'm having a little party today. Inviting a couple friends over to watch RotK and eat lembas and such since its September 22. (I wanted to get nine people to come, but we could only get five. ) Plus, I'm putting a recording of Gollum talking to himself under the sink in the bathroom! And my sis tells me I do a really good Gollum voice, so I may.. *ahem* personalize some messages... Eheheheheee.... It's gonna be awesome.

Sounds like fun, Precious! I'm considering doing a LotR marathon the weekend The Hobbit comes out... but there's the slight complication of it's being smack dab in the middle of finals week. It's great that you've got the Gollum impression down - my throat never cooperates with me when I try to do it.

Except my mum refuses to say it's a "party," we're just "watching a movie" oh well. ^Sometimes when I'm annoyed I'll crawl around start talking like Gollum. LOL

The main reason I don't do a Gollum impression is for fear that it will be too good and then I'll be harassed. If I'm going to be compared to a LotR character, I want it to be Legolas or Arwen or Party Rocker Thrandeezy. ... Guys, I'm leaving for college tomorrow. I'm super excited, but a little bit nervous too. Mostly because I have three enormous suitcases that I somehow need to navigate throughout Britain and it's not going to be easy.

Good luck Shadowcat! I was just in B&N with my mind set on two specific books, and ended up not walking out with either one. I got some Sherlock Holmes instead.

Yes, good luck Shadowcat!! GotPrecious wrote: I was just in B&N with my mind set on two specific books, and ended up walking out with either one. I got some Sherlock Holmes instead. But isn't that a great thing to walk out of B&N with?? (I may be a little biased though )

Lol it is a great thing to walk out with! I was gonna get a biography of Tolkien, but it wasnt in stock. But here's my dilemma. The book i got was the complete works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but it was split into 2 volumes. At home i already have the Adventures, and the Memoirs of SH. Volume 1 was the Adventures, Memoirs, Sign of Four, and Hound of Baskerville. Now, i didnt wanna use my gift cards on stories i already have, so i only got Volume 2 cuz it had some stories i didnt already have. But it is torture for me to have Volume 2 and not Volume 1! Bleh. So there's my big long boring problem that i doubt anyone cares about nor understands but me. Cuz im weird like that.

I have all the Holmes stories/novels in one big Collectors book...and I also own the collection in ebook form on my Nook....and I have a separate book that's sort of like his most popular stories (my first Holmes book)...and actually my Collectors book has been read so much that the binding is completely destroyed and the cover is falling off, so I actually need to buy another one....Do I own enough versions of those books? I cant tell.... I just bought a new book from B&N tonight on my Nook, by Tess Gerritsen called "The Apprentice", its in the Rizzoli and Isles series. I'm just over halfway done with the first book in the series and I was already wanting the second, so I went ahead and got it. I might read Jane Eyre next though, not sure...
