Hello all

I've been lurking around a few of these Tolkien related sites for a number of years as I've always had a passing fondness at the least for his work... recently I read the Silmarillion for the first time and now I am infected with Tolkienitis. I just can't get enough! I think I will have to re-read lotr with my new world-context that the Silmarillion has given me.

I can't wait to completely geek out with you all over Tolkien!

(maybe I can even join in the Sindarin conversation thread I saw here once I get through enough of the CoE's Sindarin workbook )

Lifes Too Short to even care at all.

Greetings everyone, name's Lisa (not a nickname or a short form) and I may be new to this forum but not forums in general (I'm on a gazillion of them, including some RPing sites). Unlike some of you, I prefer the villains to the heroes (hence the username). I even dressed up as one of the Nazgul last Halloween (but since I had the costume on backwards and didn't have the sword yet, I'll be doing it again this year. The only thing I'll have to replace is the boots). Just because you happen to be a female fan doesn't mean you have to limit it to female costumes. A female fan on one of my POTC messageboards (which is pretty dead in the water by now) once dressed up as Capt. Jack (she looked pretty good, too).
