Ok. I know there are a lot of Kili/Fili fans out there... (lol I'm one too )
But I'm just wondering. How would you guys feel if they don't die in the movies???

Ummm, mixed feelings. Because they are supposed to die in the book and that is changing the book a lot, however I do not look forward to seeing them die, it will be so sad!!!!!!!! I really don't know!!

Me too. It really makes me mad when movie directors significantly change the books, but I was really sad when they died as well.

If they do die..I can imagine a scene where Thorin gets wounded, then Fili and Kili go around him to guard him and fight off a bunch of goblins really epicly; then in slow-mo they get wounded really heroically...(like Boromir's death scene)
It bothers me how in the book it just says they died from wounds from defending Thorin

Yeah, I was like, that's it? I also think I should have read the ending BEFORE the movie, I was so sad when I realized that they died after watching the movie!!!

Yeaup that's a nasty feeling.. sometimes it helps knowing whats about to happen first
What made me sad was seeing how epic they were, cuz I knew they were gonna die and I didn't think about how great they were before the movie

I know is going to be heartbreaking but that is something that cannot and should not be changed, they have to die. and I HOPE is heartbreaking and not like a mention of the event like in the books.

I am going to be so sad!!!! Worse than when Boromir and Haldir died! I was depressed for about a week after I realized that they die!!

I agree with everyone else. I read the end of the Hobbit today (well, I read up to some part of the chapter "Spiders and Flies" or something and I skipped to the end) just to see how they said how Thorin and Kili and Fili died, but it was jsut a mentioned event and my brain was screaming.
