I was wondering where you had disappeared to Erin! I thought it had something to do with your internet running out again. Well, welcome back! As to your story ideas, you know, you never really see a story where the bad guy wins. Someone should write one. Really throw people for a loop. The whole time they're reading it they're like "oh you know whats going to happen, the good guy is going to win" and then boom! bad guy wins.

That's what appealed to me. Mostly the part about the Big Bad, because in all stories, they are just evil and nothing more. I always wonder what made them choose to do such evil things, and why they wanted to carve the would in such a likeness. I don't know if the Big Bad will actually win, because I haven't started to write. I'll see how it pans out. First though, I want to explore the place they will own as their 'evil' lands, through drawing maps. Then of course the history of how their kingdom came to be how it would be at present. Also what made them turn to such a life. After I've done all that, then I'll see about actually writing the story. If I do, it will go on FictionPress, I'll be sure to share it with everyone on here. I have to ask, Tink, what is your second banner of? When I look at it, I feel like I should know it, but at the same time can't remember what from.

It could certainly turn out to be a very interesting story, from a psychological standpoint, seeing a story through the eyes of the "bad guy", being inside their head and learning what makes them tick, so to speak. From that standpoint you could go different routes, making it more of an "understand the bad guy" kind of thing, or you can use the idea of being inside their head to make it quite a twisted story, or perhaps combine a little of both. Going a little dark and twisted with it could be fun, and perhaps even a bit of a challenge too. As to my banner, its from "Outlander". Its a new show, which is where the pictures come from, but its also a book series that I've recently fallen in love with. (shout out to my lovely sister Lhun for the banner!!)

why thank you Bella, an awesome person helped get it working for me I'm sure that would be exhausting! But hopefully things are going well, despite the juggling! I noticed you mentioned buying some new furniture together, seems like things are settling well

Who on eaaaarth might that even have been.... xD
Yeah, definitely. Earlier me and her son cuddled on the couch and he was happy for me to be the person to give him his evening milk. Which is good because on Tuesday my girlfriend starts her new job which means I have to pick him up from nursery and look after him until like midnight.

Hello Everyone!! I'm back from Turkey, I actually got back Sunday but I've had an insane week. We've just launched our HUUUUGE website at work, it's been two years of hard work and now my baby is out in the world. It's so scary! Our PR manager has been on TV and radio all over the country promoting personal stories that I've written and researched. AND my book is officially now officially on sale it's madness! Quote: Wow Lembas, you take this "popping in" serious, jumping off a mountain and all. (lame attempt at a joke) That sounds exciting! Definitely not something I would do though, heights not my thing. Glad you popped in though Quote: @ Lembas: Oh my gosh! That sounds like so much fun! Yeah I agree with Tink that you are taking jumping in a little to seriously. I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Turkey! Let us know more about the trip when you get back. I love travel stories. Hahaha you guys! Paragliding was ridiculously fun! But not that extreme really, so I'm not that brave! Plus there was a little girl who was 9 doing it, so she was definitely the bravest person Once I was in the air it was quite slow and relaxed, a bit like being on a Ski-lift, and my pilot was really friendly and and assured me everything was alright. We inflated the parachute before take off and only had to run like three steps and we were in the air. The drive up the mountain was definitely scarier, as we just climbed and climbed up wiggly roads. THIS was the mountain I jumped off, and THIS was the view. It was awesome

Whoa Lembas, congratulations on getting your project up and running! And what's your book about? Having it published sounds exciting Paragliding looks like fun and not as scary as jumping out of a plane. And I bet the view was absolutely breathtaking! Bella, it sounds like things are going really well with your girlfriend And now her son is used to you he'll only like it when you're the one putting him to bed and everything. Guys, in 18 days I'm getting on a plane to NZ It's awesome and really cool, but the nerves are also kicking in right now, so I'm glad I don't have to work so I can't screw anything up

Hi Randiriel! How are you? I'm thinking, we should have a family tree party. Well, if we're not all busy. It would be a little sad, if the party thread were to die right away again.

Hello Randiriel! Nice to see you again! I've considered another family party as well, Erin. Something fallish or Halloweenish, perhaps something thats got an actual plot to it as well. But I was concerned that people may be too busy. What does everyone think?

Well I've finally got time to join a party, as long as it starts before the 21st of October So as long as any of you is prepared to host a party (and maybe make it Halloween-themed?) I'd like to join this one!

I could maybe go. Btw, does anyone know the colour sequence for contour lines? It's my geography homework
And, hi Erin, hi Tink!

A halloween themed party would be awesome! I could host it, if no one else wants to. But before all of that, we should decide where to actually have the party.
I vote, in Gondor in the courtyard around the white tree. That would be a great place. Or perhaps in Rohan, in the king's throne room. Somewhere away from The Hobbit related lands. Because the last few have been Erebor, and one short lived one in Laketown. Marida did mention having a party back in Erebor, for Durin's Day. So maybe a drastic change from those places.

Erin, I'm up for co-hosting the party if you want to, but I'll probably not be around until it finishes. Let me know!
As for where to have the party, we've also had parties in non-Middle Earth-specific places like a garden or a forest, so maybe that's also an option. Especially if it's already Halloween themed the setting could be a bit more generic, otherwise people would have to RP themselves + spouse, conform to the setting and keep in mind that it's a Halloween theme. Might be a bit too much.

I'd love to join a party, but between school, my partner and my stepson there really isn't much time. I'm not active at all online as I used to be because they just take priority. But I'll make a quick appearance with my husband if I can, even if we can't stay long. xD
