Yeah, I love playing The Sims. I started with Bustin' Out. But when I got my first laptop, Mum got me Sims 1 and some expansion packs. I played that for a while. Then upgraded to TS2. I loved that, and had all the expansion packs. Well, that laptop died, and I had to get a new one. I thought might as well upgrade to TS3. I started playing as my fave family, The Goths. Then did a legacy. Now for fun, I'm making my own branch of the family in each neighbourhood I have access to. I got as many expansion packs as I could, with different neighbourhoods. Except Twinbrook, because I couldn't get Ambitions. Plus, not the downloadable neighbourhoods either. It is quite fun.

If anyone is interested, I could post all the stories I'm creating on here. But I'm not sure where to put it. I guess it would be classed as a fanfic. Sort of.

I'd love to have all of my expansion packs installed at the same time. But, I can't. I use a laptop for my game play. I have to have one or two installed at a time, and them rotate them around. Plus back up all my files, so I can continue where I left off, with certain packs.

I get to wear my Halloween costume to work on friday!!! Wooooooo!!!! I'm gonna be pirating it up! Can't wait! I wasn't even scheduled to work that day, but when I heard the manager say we could wear costumes I was like "so do you need any extra people to work that day?" Tell me I can dress like a pirate and I'll volunteer for extra work!

Ok, does anyone else use mozilla firefox for their internet browser? all of a sudden bloody ads are popping up everywhere, and I cant figure out how to get them to stop, even though I downloaded some ad blocker add-on. its driving me crazy, especially on this site, the ads go crazy on this site, sneaking into the middle of the screen and everything. bloody irritating. anyone know how to get it to stop??

Bellatrix is seriously my real name, yep. I don't like that character much either, but love the name and where it comes from originally and people had been calling me Bella for years so I wanted to change my name to a variation of that, and chose between Isabella and Bellatrix and Bellatrix won.

well i just added three things so that I could watch a show online, but i've disabled all of them and i'm still getting 3 or 4 ads popping up all over my pages, its driving me nuts. i even added an ad-blocker and its not helping! it was perfect before i added those three new add-ons.

Does anyone here know how to use tumblr? I've decided to devote my unused blog to my sims game play, but I'm at a loss on how to properly use the site. I need someone to possibly talk me through how to use it, really.

I was happy to keep it on Sims wiki, but since I am doing a reboot of my legacy, I feel that I don't want to put it up there any more. The attidute of late, seems like it is basically "if your fanon isn't absolutely spot on perfect, we're not interested." I don't like that at all. I'd rather have a blog, where I can display it the way I want, and take my sweet time working on it.

The Sims is such a fun game series. I started with the original. I still have all or most of the original games and expansions. For some reason my first disk of The Sims Complete Collection is missing and it is making me angry... The complete collection runs for $100USD now. When I had the Sims 2 I created a whole town dedicated to Harry Potter and some of my RP/fanfic characters lived in there too. Hilarious stuff happened all the time. I remember one time one of my characters had invited another over to play. (They were kids) And they were outside talking when a storm kicked up. Lighting hit the guest mid conversation and then right afterwards walked away to go home and take a shower. I was so confused at what had just happened!


@Tink: I do not use Firefox any more but that is odd. Are they actual pop up windows? And are they similar types of ads? Either way I would run virus and spyware checks. It might be a harmless little ad spyware but sometimes things start out small until they really work their way into the system and crash it. I know the anti-spyware I have (Spybot: Search and Destroy) is really good, but I don't think they offer free versions anymore unless you have the old installer. If could use a spyware check programme pm me and I will send it to you through e-mail.

@Erin: I use Tumblr. The site can be a little moody at times but it is nice enough. I can do what I can to try and help you. You can pm me any time with questions.

My current obsession is expanding on the Goth family. Eventually, there will be a legacy in each neighbourhood. Though, most neighbourhoods will start with my own CAS sims.

Thanks for the offer Rinoa. I'll take you up on that. When I can get it to work, that is. I decided to delete my old blog out right, because there are some horrible people on there, that could still stalk me. I never really did use it, anyway. And it had like 1 post from over a year ago. I had no idea how to use it then, and I still don't. (My new link is the-elven-queen-of-mirkwood, BTW.) I can't even customise it. The screen just freezes, and tells me to check my internet connection. Which is fine. In fact, my connection is the best it's been in months.

I figured out my pop up and ad issue! yay! found the right add-on app that actually worked. It was driving me crazy, I had run McAfee scans and Spybot scans a couple times just to make sure there was nothing wrong. But yay, got my internet working like it did before I changed things! On another note, my work schedule is killing me, and i'm not looking forward to what it'll become during the holidays.

@Erin: Yay! I'll add you as soon as I can. One of my blogs is really mostly fandom stuff... A lot of K-pop and other things. That is really odd that it freezes on you though. Do you have some type of protection programme that messes with it I wonder? One of the best ways to get a hold of me is through my normal e-mail. I get that straight to my phone these days so I check it quite a bit. I can send it to you if you like. ^_^
Expanding the Goth family is quite and awesome and busying task. They have always been one of my favourite families and their stories always get so much more interesting every expansion and revamp that comes along.

@Tink: I'm glad you figured it out and that your computer was not infected! Haha. That's always nice to know.
You're work schedule maybe hell but I'm glad you are at least getting work. I get nothing now that Halloween Horror Nights is over. I have to call in everyday and ask to be added to the on-call list. Then pray someone gets sick so I can steal their shift. XD Hopefully they will schedule me more once it gets closer to Christmas.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't posted much lately. My internet connection has been iffy the last couple of days. Plus I've been working on a little project, that turned out to be a complete waste of time. I'm pretty annoyed about it actually. I put a lot of hard work into that project. Brought a nice little A5 sized folder. Used only A5 sized paper, to give it a sort of look of a book. Got bright coloured dividers and tabs. Now nothing will come of it.

@Rinoa: I don't think any programs are the problem. No need to send me the e-mail, I don't really use my email account much, if ever at all. Mostly to activate accounts for sites, etc.

Yeah, I have always adored the Goths. When I got TS3, I really wanted to play the Goth family. Because I realised, that story progression would change them or kill them off anyway, so, why not have full control of those changes? So it snowballed from there.

Well lets see...my knee is still messed up, and has been for a week now. Not sure how I'm going to go back to my store job on thursday. Its made some improvements, but not enough to make me easy in mind about work, and plus I'm hoping going in doesn't mess up what little healing has went on in there. Oh, and now my car smells like something is burning when I turn the heater on...and its smoking as well....*sigh* On the other hand, relaxed today and watched FotR with Gandalf (my fish), I'm going to say he liked it because he hung around the side of the tank that faces the tv during the movie.
