I totally know that. No one can tear me down worst than myself. It's just random writings. Full of stuff I find funny, and no one else probably would. Experimenting with different types of tense and writing styles. Working out the relationships between characters. In them, I'm not even trying to make them any good. If I did have anything good, I would post it right away. Or probably put it on my fictionpress.
I hate the idea of having a sort of generic writing style. Like, when someone reads any of my stories, to think "Oh, it is very Erin." I like to focus on the narrating character. Think how they would write their story, if they were at the computer instead of me. It takes a lot of work, but it's worth it.

Sounds like a very good writing exersize actually. A lot of great stories are built on mounds of "non-essential" lore such as the stuff you describe.
Do you have stuff posted on your fiction press account?
Hm... that is a very interesting idea indeed. I have never thought how the character themselves would write the story too much. Other than on one character I have but not written a book about. Do your characters narrate or no?

I thought I replied here. Oh well, better late than never. I'll answer though PM. Well, I'm in a good mood! I've been listening to The Misty Mountains song, and The Song of the Lonely Mountain for over an hour, to make sure I make a good banner. It took a lot of effort, but I'm happy with the result. I made sure to keep that moon visible, because the way I see it is, when Thorin saw that moon through the flames of dragon fire, it probably haunted him for the rest of his days. So it had to be there, not downgraded or deleted. Edited: Also, forgot to add, anyone using any other forum texture than the A-U green one, will notice the text in my signature looks weird. I made a screencap, and turned it into an image, so I can have two signatures. I always hated that I could only have one, with the full text. But didn't want to ditch it either.

Love your new Thorin banner, Erin! Is it the "Misty Mountains" theme in my banner as well? It's so small that I can't read it. I haven't had two banners in my signature for a while, not because I can't, but because I usually like them to match in some way. And there's still enough room undeneath for the text. I like to advertise whom I'm "married" to, so that newer members know who's 'taken', regardless of what happens to Thorin in the movies. He's alive and well within the Family Tree (thank goodness, since I'm not planning on becoming a grieving widow anytime soon). Can you believe we've been "married" for over two years? Where does the time go? I finally received my BoFA T-shirt I ordered from eBay. Since I don't have a credit card, I have to buy all the hard to find items on eBay, since they allow you to pay through your bank account. It's a picture of the "international" poster, since I just can't wear singular character T-shirts, because I get too embarrassed (perhaps I just don't like being too obvious, except on discussion forums, since most of us go by screennames, not our real names, or at least I don't, since I find that too dangerous, even if it is in a different language). As long as Thorin is on there somewhere, I'm good. It's the same with posters, since the only posters I have of Thorin are the group posters; with the entire group for AUJ, and with Fili and Kili at Ravenhill before all the bad stuff happens for BoFA. The poster for DoS is one of the teaser posters with Bilbo looking down at the front gate of Erebor with the desolation in between.

You can have the signature if you want, when I'm done with it. I only made it as a place holder. I've requested a banner from Lembas, and until it is complete, I'm using this. Here's the icons; If you don't mind having the same banner as me for a little while, I'll send you the link to it. You know, I honestly can't remember. I know it was the lyrics to a The Hobbit theme song. It's either I See Fire, or The Song of the Lonely Mountain. I know I was listening to one of them, when I made it.

Since I'm on a public computer, it's best you send me a link to the banner and icons (if you don't mind). I'll be at my parents' place on Good Friday, so I'll be able to save them onto their computer so that I can upload them to my own Photobucket account then (I delete the pictures off their computer after I do so). Until then, I'll have to copy and paste them.

Alright. Will do. You can direct link to my photobucket. I'll never delete them, so they will be safe. I never delete anything I make. I use it as back up storage for all my graphics.
Sending PM now.

I just noticed something weird. My "joined date" is inconsistant with my first spouse wedding. (Edit: LOL, this is embarrassing. I family tree wed Faramir in the 20th of Feb, not January. XP I better change it. Also, I've been married to Thranduil for almost a year now. On the subject of family tree spouses, I thought we should have a party soon. If anyone is interested in running it with me.

Speaking of "weddings", I "married" Thorin the same year I joined too, but on the day AUJ first got released on Blu-ray and DVD (at least in North America). Coincidence, I think not! And I think our next "party" should be some kind of anniversary celebration, since if you've been "married" to Thranduil for nearly a year, and I've been "married" to Thorin for a little over two years, it would seem the best option, but getting Thorin to the Woodland Realm may be a little tricky, so maybe we should host it in Laketown (since my birthday idea didn't seem to take off, so perhaps we should try that location again, since although Thorin's been to Laketown, I'm not sure if Marida has, so she may want to see the place where Smaug met his end, since she was present in Erebor during the attack, and would have been squashed if it wasn't for Thorin)? And I like your request idea about another drawing of Erin (along with Thranduil). Perhaps I should request the same for Marida?

Hey, I got Thranduil to Erebor. Granted, he had guards stalk me the whole time, but I got him there. Thorin can get his moody butt down to that realm and lump it! Yeah, I do like that idea of an anniversary party. I think we should PM talk about themes and whatnot. It was fun thinking up all that stuff with Lhun, for the Halloween party. Yeah, I thought I could use the sketch for RPGs and stuff. Post your request in that thread, if you like. Since they are for the same request. No point letting the thread go to waste.

My two year anniversary with Hook is coming up this month as well! And a party sounds like a fun idea. I'd be happy to join.

So, it's settled then. Me and Tink are planning it. Hopefully, it shouldn't be too long until we post it. The party will be in the Woodland Realm.
