For more reasons then one, since Emma has gone back to her original husband (Fili) and Aralas has changed both her username (Aralas Tulisse) and her spouse (I think she chose Maglor from The Silmarillion). And speaking of changes, you haven't updated my middle "child's" username on this thread, since it still reads "Mistress Durin" instead of "Gersemi". Looks like the Thorin set is all mine now, so thank you for that, Erin (and telling me how to get those hearts you use to show up in my signature as well). I had a little bit of an issue uploading them into my own Photobucket account until I remembered that Photobucket no longer displays the whole banner in your library (though you'll see the whole thing if you click on it), so I thought that I was doing something wrong. And I think it makes sense to have any kind of anniversary celebration in the Woodland Realm, since you chose to hold your wedding reception in Erebor (don't worry, Marida will get Thorin back to the Woodland Realm, even if he's not too fond of the idea. I've yet to host a Durin's Day celebration, when I can find out when the actual day is, since some people think it's in October, which is why I haven't hosted it yet). And speaking of Erebor, I was finally able to find a replica key in my price range (which was about $13.50 in US dollars). It comes with a necklace so I can wear it with the new BoFA multiple character shirt I just received (both were found on eBay, naturally). I had my eye on another one, but it cost a whopping $70.00!

Is that's what's going on with photobucket? Images won't display for me either A couple of images won't load on my tumblr won't load either. Kind of annoying. I thought it was just me or something. You've been trying to host a gathering of some sort for a while. Durin's Day is a good way's off. Perhaps you can find another day to have some kind of family gathering.

I've never had any problems with the new Photobucket thing. I like that you can click on the icon in the album and it uploads. At least now I can upload bigger sized files. Now my banners average from about 190KB - 240KB. Also, you know that you can upload from URL, right? It works the same as regular uploads, except that you just copy the link into the box. It works faster with other Photobucket links. I'm glad you like the banner. (Though, if you ever use another set, I might use it again myself. ) I'm totally proud of how it turned out. Usually I change my mind with the pics, and end up having to change them. That one, I kept the same three pics. From left to right--The trees in fire shot, from "He never forgave and he never forgot." A screencap, from when Gandalf gives the map, I had to cut out a blurry Bilbo, from behind his left shoulder. And lastly, a screencap from when they are gathering and humming before they sing. It's a pity Balin got washed out, but there was no way I was letting that moon go. I'm that proud of it, I actually don't care if it makes me sound full of myself, to say that it is the best Thorin set I've ever made. Gersemi wrote: Is that's what's going on with photobucket? Because they don't support Internet Explorer anymore. I won't change it though, because I'm a creature of habbit, and I don't want to spend ages trying to figure out the buttons to a new browser. I prefer find your own fun kind of party RPs, because how can anyone know what is totally awesomely fun for everyone?

Happy Easter, Emma. And to everyone else. I'm thinking about doing a prize banner give away. I'm bored, and need some practise with sets and etc. If there is some interest, of course. It will include spouses from the family tree. I will post an official thread, here in Misc. Randomness. If there is a lot of interest, the five winners will get a banner prize. But, if there isn't much interest, then perhaps top three. Anyone interested?

Cool. I'll see if anyone else shows any interest, before I fully commit to making the thread.

Count me in. Like I mentioned earlier, it's been a while since I've had two banners.

why is it so darn hard to find a guy you can be yourself with, (and perhaps even discover who you truly are while with him), who accepts and likes all your crazy quirks and obsessions and old lady like hobbies, supports your sometimes crazy dreams, who's content with either going out somewhere or just chilling at home on the couch with a book or movie just because you're with the other person, who's willing to go the extra mile to make you happy yet also realizes sometimes all it takes is a little, simple thing to achieve that?.......that guy so doesn't exist in my area. *sigh*.....this is what happens to me when I watch romcoms....i should not watch romcoms. romcoms bad for me. plus I'm reading Pride and Prejudice right now. double whammy. *falls over in exasperation* I think i'm rambling. am i rambling? i'm rambling. i've also hit the candy pretty hard tonight. as a result of the romcom. i'll stop rambling now.

*hugs Tink if that's ok* That sort of guy is really hard to find nowadays. It's so frustrating! Hope your dream guy (oh, I mean Hook ) comes into your life soon And I'm reading Pride and Prejudice too It's great!

I'm on my laptop right now and everything works fine. *rolls eyes* Now I have to try and figure out why.

Its like what, are they all hiding away on some remote island somewhere?? And I love P&P! Reading it for like, the millionth time Have you ever read "Death Comes To Pemberley"? Its a continuation of P&P, but it winds up being a murder mystery! I was a little skeptical, hoping the author would do the characters justice, but I wound up really enjoying it and having fun while reading it.

Alright, I'll start sorting out the banner give away thread. ((EDIT: I made the thread. here)) I totally feel you, Tink. Where I live, all the guys are either selfish, addicts or disgusting. I would much rather fantasize about fictional characters than have anything to do with the guys I actually know. I'll probably end up a single old cat lady, anyway. With a whole mob of cats. I'm already sorta there. Not even thirty yet, and I have about six cats. One I treat like my daughter.
