Micha turned only slightly when he heard the footsteps behind him. Noticing who it was who approached, however, he turned full to face the prince and bowed.
"Prince Eldir. I'm honored to attend this festival. Your city has achieved great things this age."

Micha shook his head slowly and turned back towards the starlit sky. "I am an adventurer..." his voice grew faint. "I tell you no lie, sir, that I care for mankind and have no love of evil... but I lust for adventure and where it is I will follow."
He then turned back to the prince. "The true victory belongs to the people of this land who suffered and lived in the face of evil for so long. Men like myself were just an extra prod to urge them into greater action."

"You are a sword-for-hire?" Eldîr queried, saccharine.

Micha grinned slightly and shook his head. "Not hardly. I admit, I volunteered to join the battle. My adventures are things such as this fight.... missions with a moral cause. I then loot any debris from the enemy that can be salvaged, sell them, and make my living by doing this."

"No," Micha said emphatically. "I don't work for pay, only what I can salvage myself. Your people have been more than kind to me. Battles as large as this are always traumatic events, however... even for the winning side."

Eldîr nodded. "I have learned that much..."

"I apologize for taking your time with my mindless ramblings," Micha said with a bow. "That's what adventure will get you." He grinned. "A questionable mind."
He glanced over to the goings on. "It looks like the evening is coming to a close."

Wordlessly, Eldîr turned to gaze over his city. Beyond his white stone walls the skirmish tents stood in orderly rows beside the sea of grass that was Pelannor Fields, protected by the ditches their servants had dug for them. Two iron legions out of Dol Amroth, trained and armed in the same fashion as the Gondorians, were encamped across the river to the south. Two more Rohirric legions had made camp to the northwest, choking off the Great West Road. The horse lines and cook fires of the Free Peoples lay to the south. Their distant flames could be seen in the night. Hard by the Bay of Belfalas was the abomination, the slave market at his door. He could not see it but after a day's ride. The fact it was there just made him angrier.

Micha watched the prince as he gazed... saying nothing. He sensed emotional turmoil inside him.
He waited.

I am afraid that the other RPer to this game has not been on in quite some time, but if you would like to re-start the RP or pick up wjere we left off I would happily continue!
