I just hope that they don't do what people keep mentioning which is make it like Game of Thrones and add a lot of nudity and junk. It does not need to be in this series and considering the religious background of the family I think they would be infuriated if they do something like that.

Yeah, that would be in very poor taste I think. Not only the religious convictions of the family, but also the settings in general. That kind of content simply would not fit in a middle Earth scene.

That is my thinking as well. It would ruin the feel of the show for me. I have to admit if they did add that to it, I wouldn't be watching the show to be honest. Of course I don't have Amazon prime or anything so I would have to wait tell it comes out on dvd to buy it if it is worth seeing.

Ditto, on all those points. I am really hoping that they do it right. I don't have Amazon prime either, but I guess by waiting we will have time to read up on it and know if it is going to be worth buying.

I don't stream either, I watch all my TV shows on Network TV. My 3D Blu-player does have the ability to stream, but only from Netflix, not Amazon Prime, so I'll have to wait until the Blu-ray comes out to even check it out. Why don't these companies realize that not everyone has the ability to stream, some of us still like to watch shows like this on cable.  _________________

Yeah, I wish they would make it available elsewhere. The way I see it, it is just a money making scheme by Amazon. Not only don't hey make money on the show, but then they make extra money because of the many fans that don't have Amazon Prime who WILL sign up for it just to watch the show.
