I use it when I'm looking for something, but I can't ever remember it turning up what I was after. especially if I was searching with a specific thread in mind. I normally end up looking for it manually. but it is still a useful feature

Not really..Im not quite sure how to use it myself.

I have never used it on any forum more than 5x, so I just do it the old fashioned way-looking! I find lots of interesting stuff that way.

Wow. I'm the only person who put "Frequently." I know I use it at least once a day, probably more. I always do a thorough search before starting a new thread and often use it to see if anyone besides me seems to know of a topic.

I've never had any trouble finding anything with it.

Typical search (One I just tried actually):
I remembered a thread in one of the LotR boards about Gandalf's staff and wanted to find it again.
Keywords: Gandalf's staff
"Search for all terms" (More specific results)
Forum: Misc Movie Discussion

It was the second result. I'm not sure how it's so difficult...

to be honest i don't think i ever realized that there was a search tool.. but it actually might come in handy.. who knows. lets find out.

I use "Posts After Last Visit" which, I see, is the search tool.

I try to use it, but often get put off by it. I never seem to find what i'm looing for. Plus I like to find things by chance, sometimes more entertaining that way. It's how I found this poll actually.

I try to use it... but tehcnology-inept as I am, I hardly ever get the results I want. Even if I search for something quite specific. WHY IS IT NOT GOOGLE??! *ahem* I mean... usually I'm looking for a specific thread or a specific person's post on a certain sub-board. I think the problem is that I can't narrow my searches to be specific.

I use it if I need to find a user, usally I just end up putting the names in both the boxes. I don't really use it every know and then. Not very offen. It is helpful.

I didn't notice the search tool existed until I saw this thread and looked up at the bar up there. *sheepish look* I probably wouldn't use it though. I go through forums by looking up the categories and seeing what's new, usually.
