ive been looking at the fan art and most of them are really really good. ive been trying to draw for ages but im never any good does anyone have any useful helpful fantastic drawing tips to give me to help me out

I have a random tip, but I don't know if it fantastic! I draw in my notebook at school--lol not that I'm encouraging anyone to not listen in class--but that helps because you feel like you don't have to 'get it right' and you learn a lot by just doodling...I have actually drawn some pretty good Boromirs and Galadriels in my school notebooks...also some Nazgul and Rohirrim...so yeah...doodle away!

okay this is kind of stupid but if you try drawing the thing your worst at first (for me the nose) it helps you because the rest is a breez. Good luck!

Hehe, me too. I've spnet half of my hours drawing 2 A-s, writing Lórien and trying to make something to look like Niphredil. Guess what? I don't have a scanner.
Tips & tricks? Just draw what your heart tells you to draw. (I know it sounds stupid, but hey!) I'm not good at drawing - but I do it w my heart, and therefore my pics could be considered as ... err, rather interesting.
