That quote made me laugh as well! I couldn't stop rolling around in my seat. Hil-ar-ious.

OMG! You know him! Your so lucky Oro, I live in England, but none of the HP actors/actresses live in Bristol that I know of. :(

Argh I need to say something about this. Why did his eyes have to be all cloudy? They're trying to show that he's under the spell or w/e but there mad-eye is saying "how do you sort out the liars" [from the people under the spell] well hmmmm it might just be the guy that looks drugged that was under the imperius curse :duh:

That was so odd! At first I couldn't understand what was wrong with him, but then it donned on me that he was probably under the Imperius Curse. I thought tat was pretty stupid. Oh, and that line "How do we sort out the liars" was pretty bad too. :confused2:

Eh....well, that line wasn't all that bad, in my opinion. Because it's true in the case of the difficulty with the imperius curse.

But we don't exactly know the extent of the imperius curse, or do we?

Actually...what ARE the details of the Imperius curse?

Is it you have to be casted another spell by the same person to stop the curse? Does the Imperius curse have a time limit? How different will their personalities be if they were under the imperius curse?

Wow! Those questions are good and I also wonder the same.

Hmmm...I've never thought about that.

I'm going to research that some more, I'll be back.

Nope I looked. Jo never gave that much detail on it.

Their personality would change a bit...I imagine they would seem a bit zoned out. The suggestions that the ministry hands out to everyone say that if any family member is acting strangely, notify the ministry, because they may be under the imperius curse.

I'll go check jkrowling.com, I doubt it has anything though, and maybe I'll check MuggleNet.

Hmm...I see. Anything about time limits? Or time constraints? We discussed it with Unbreakable Vows but what about Imperius Curses?

I heard from a reviewer that they left out something about Barty Courch Sr. using the imperius on his son? Is that true? I don't remember.

Yeah that's true. When Barty Crouch Jr.'s mother went to jail in her son's place, Barty Crouch brought his son home and used the imperius on him. Then he started fighting off the imperius curse, which is when he got back in touch with voldy. So that's a clue actually. You can fight off the imperius curse.

Why don't I remember any of this? So how did Jr's mother go in his stead? By polyjuice?

Yep, I think you should read the book again kit :)

They didn't explain how anything happened in the movie. And then Dumbledore, I think, says "let azkaban know they're missing a prisoner". Well what kind of security is that? Everyone was freaking out about Sirius escaping, and now they didn't even notice he was missing? Really bad way to avoid explaining anything.

And also Priori Incantatum. Dumbledore says "ah, priori incantatem" as if that explains everything. Then he says "there's no spell that can reawaken the dead" but doesn't actually explain what it was.

If you hadn't read the book, this movie makes no sense

[sigh] It's disheartening all the explaining has gone....atleast in Chris Columbus's movies he explained thoroughly, now with all these complicated concepts, we need that kind of explaining back.

Yes I agree, I hate when people say that the first two movies were so bad. I personally loved those movies. Sure, they were much more kid-movie-ish but they were true to the books.

[giggles]

I agree, Emma Watson is beautiful but if she's amazingly beautiful, then she's not Hermione. Hermione isn't beautiful.

I adored the actor for Viktor as well :D He protrayed Viktor well.

Yeah.Emma is so pretty.I loved it when she came down from the stairs. She looked like a different girl.My mom cried in that scene

Viktor was awesome! Some people didn't like him but I did. After all, Viktor is kind of the strong, silent type and Stan did a good job doing that.
