Padme laughs at his slightly stunned face. "How in the galaxy did you think I got to become a Senator?.... Unfortunately, lying is one of the things I've become good at...." She smiles sadly. "More like twisting the truth, but yes, lying is neccessary too..." She whispers softly, then looks up at him, taking his hand in hers and twining her fingers through his. Padme smiles again. "But, that's one reason I did this...so I wouldn't have to talk about matters of state...."

Vira lifted her shoulders as if to shrug, but didn't complete the movement. "Pretty good." she said.
Nirauhti(Vira's trainer) says I'm almost a full fledged Jedi." her eyes beamed with exitement. "Yoda seems to agrees too. He says not many more trials lie ahead for me, before the time will come."

Padme grins and nudges him back, but it's more of a shove. With a laugh, she opens the door and the panel slides back, allowing them entrance into the room. With a sigh, she looks around them. "Y'know what, I think we should just skip the whole meeting... I really don't want to have to speak in front of them..." She adds the last part quietly.
