Lemme see. There are countless threads already based on PotC-how many up to date exactly?
Lol, I just felt like starting a new one. I mean, y'know, I like rping in PotC threads, used to do it a lot in another forum-but since I started looking at the rpg sections on a-u's forum, the potc ones have already gotten pretty deep. I'm not one to just join all of a sudden, lol, in the middle of the rp, so I'm starting my own. Clear things up for myself, and such.
Yep, anyone and everyone is welcome. Savvy?
Me first, I'd like to be Jack Sparrow. Sorry, pip! : D
Y'all know his description and history and stuff, so I won't delay. The rp has no specific plot-let's just make it up as we go along.
And I'll be the fearless first poster, luvs. ^^;

Jack Sparrow leaned against the balustrades of the black pearl, his dark eyes scanning the horizon hopefully. He half hoped to see something appear from the end of the sea, something to catch him by surprise. Nothing. No movement or whatever of the sort. Sighing wearily, he lowered his gaze instead to the sea itself, and watched as the waves nudged at the edges of the ship. It was a beautiful morning. Perfect, he'd call it-the golden rays of sunlight embraced the dark and lonely sea, and the ripples that ever so often blew across the water seemed exceptionally fascinating to watch. The corners of his lips curling into a wickedly ellubient grin, he turned his head sidewards, towards the dock of Port Royal.
"Will!" He called, inclining his head slightly, expecting any moment now for a familiar looking lad to step out of the shade and appear beside him.

I haven't written PotC in a long time-will this do, then?

Personality: Arrogant, spontainios, flirtatios (always works for her as well), helpfull, wise, strongwilled

History : Met William Turner on their way over to the Caribbean. Since then the two have had mixed feelings for each other. (Will has trouble deciding between Elizabeth Swann and Devina.) When their ship was scuppered by the Black Pearl, Devina was taken abroad and shown the ways of piracy - wich she took over the life of a lady (like her mother). When she is not out at see, she uses her mothers name, and is a well thought of woman.

Devina sat up high on the mizzenmast(sp) of one of the larger ships. There were a heap of guards swarming around the bottum shouting up angrily. She was suprised that they didnt shoot her down, but then again this was much more fun. Her small monkey hopped around her exitedly screeching back down at the men. In its tiny han it held a beautifull gold necklacke with a black pearl, a red gem that shimmered like the dawn, a cross and a small cutlass attached.

Hey, Rhav, I'd like to make up a new charrie to rp with Dev...I'll just do one now as I go, then. Dadadum...

Drew made his way towards the ship, his usually remarkably handsome face dotted with sweat and heavy perspiration. Running a hand exasperatedly over his face in one quick movement, he stepped onto the deck of the Black Pearl, then instinctively glanced up at the noise around him. There was a girl resting aboard the mast, dark tresses flying loosely about her face, and a pair of startling green eyes that gazed down upon the newcomer. She looked around his age, perhaps two years his junior or so, and she was pretty. That much he could tell. Possibly another one of those who toyed with men, he supposed. He squinted up upon her face in return, using a hand to shield his eyes from the blinding sunlight.
“Hey, you, you not gonna come down from there, eh? Coulda’ do you quite a bit of harm, y’know, we’ve had records.” He almost snorted at his own words, his eyes focusing in on her features. Course, if it was he-he wouldn’t mind going up there himself for a few moments, to merely watch, to observe the serene scenery around them. It’d take his mind off quite a few matters, release him from his…stress, prolly. But this was a young lady, and he wanted her to take care of herself. Tsk. She had too lovely a face to be blemished by the sunlight, and she was liable to fall from the mast if she even so slightly shifted a little. Now, he wouldn’t want her beautiful features ruined. A waste, really. He rested his deep hazel eyes on her for a while more, then dropped them instead to look around him, at the others. Their attention was all diverted to the girl as well, but he secretly wondered if it was barely because of her looks. They seemed determined to get her down the mast, throwing loud shouts at her continuously, but also just as dogged to acquire her name. Sighing, he shook his head slightly to himself, then called back up to her.
“Right! You come down there, I’ll do whatever ye wish, mistress. Hmm?”
She seemed to be considering something-he tugged absentmindedly at his side pocket and waited for her reply.

"Send the men off the ship!" she called down barley conceling a grin "I dont want to be arrested for whatever offence this is!" Her monkey screetched again, and jumped up and down, pointing. She swiped at him and looked at the man again. He was young and goodloking. She could tell that from up here his words were reassuring, but she couldnt take any chances on being reconised just yet. "And walk to the prow of the ship! I- For goodness sake Charles!" she swore at the monkey, was pulling at her breeches, nearly causing her to fall. Luckily she had spent must her life dangling from high places, and had only once fallen, but hadnt even broken anything. It seemed Lady Fortune was on her side. She hooked a leg around the mast, and brushed hair out of her face. "And anyway," she shouted "How do I know I can trust you!"

Drew nearly let out a sigh of exasperation, his eyes searching the girl's for any hint of relent. She seemed determined. Brushing a loose strand of dark hair behind his ears, he called back up to her. "I tell you summat. If I ever lie to you, you can do anythin' you wish to me. Okay?" He turned slightly to rest his gaze instead on the men, angling his head pointedly towards the steps leading off the ship. They understood, and, grumbling and muttering, each trudged off the black pearl. He was now left alone with the girl, with the rest of his men watching below. "Look, my name's Drew Rhoder. I'm just tryin' to help you here. What's your name now, mistress?"

History: Born in Port Royal, lived there most of her life. Since her sister went on her edventure with pirates Daire has wanted to have a edventure to. But never really has got to since school, dad, and other stuff. She is really wanting some edventure in her life. Knows not to well of the sea life, has lived mostley the life of a goveners daughter. But during class she is often caught stairing out the window at the sea day dreaming of swashbuckling adventures.

School was out for the weekend, Daire was in 11thgrade (or at least that level) in highschool. She latley had been slaking on her assignments for school wich made her father not to happy. She was already dressed, but she decided not to wear a dress. Instead she put on a white shirt(like the one directed in the picture) and a brown skirt to below her knees. Instead of putting her hair up in a fancy hat she wore it down and free. She walked out of the house and down the path of there manchon and into town. She wandered around the streets intill she came to the beach. Daire sat down at the beach right on the sand and her eyes gleamed out on the oceans horizen.

"I dont have a name!" Devina laughed, and swung herself down on a rope. Carfully, she laid a hand on the cutlass that hung from her side, her ruby earring swinging on her ear. "So, Mr. Drew sir." she mused "What now? A lifetime in prison, or just cold bloooded murder by hanging? I'm not a criminal, you must know." The lie bit into the caribbean air, and echoed around the ship. She laughed "And killing wouldnt save anything at all." Something dropped down next to her, and swished its long tail, the monkey 'King Charles' ambled over to the man, and looked him over. Then it suddenly jumped on his shoulder, pulling faces at its mistress.

Daire looked out into the mist, she thought she saw a ship with black sails flowing carefully on the crashing waves of the sea. <i>Is this the ship, Eli(Elizbeth) spoke of to me</i> she thought. Then stood up and tryed to make out the figures on the ship. She saw a captian, thats all she could make out..He looked rather ragedy...to her.
