I had one costume that looked awesome, but it was impossible to wear - stiff fabric, tight sleeves, too long cape that was just uncomfortable to walk around in. Now I want to find a suit that will not only look cool, but in which you can move normally. What fabrics are better to choose? What to pay attention to so that the suit does not interfere with life?

Best Fabrics for Comfort & Movement: Spandex/Lycra, Cotton Blend, Neoprene, Jersey Knit, Polyester or Lightweight Satin. Consider Fit & Stretch, Layers & Ventilation, Closure & Length, Seams & Closures.

Decided to order a full steampunk costume for an event, and overall the purchase lived up to expectations. At https://steampunkoutfit.com/ the costumes look stylish and detailed, in person everything is very cool too. The fabric is thick but not too heavy, the fittings are not cheap. The only thing is the jacket was a bit longer than I expected, but that even added to its charm. If you're looking for a quality steampunk suit, this site is worth considering.
