Mariana nodded and closed her book. She walked over to her closet, pulled out her trunk and began packing.

The next moring Indy and Cheyenee woke early to get ready to leave. Between them, they packed in a small duffle bag. All the horses were ready. Indy knocked on Mariania's door, hoping she was allready awake. "Ready?"

Mariana looked up, for she had been up since six and was sitting on her bed, waiting. "Yeah," she said. She got up and grabbed her suitcase and two bags.

Indy laughed. "packed enough?"

Mariana crossed her arms. "Yes," she said, "With all of the books I'll need...there's no telling how many runes we'll need to decipher."

Indy laughed. "Alright, but your carring it."

Mariana shrugged and laughed. "Okay," she said, "But that means you have to carry my - <i>clothes</i>." A wicked grin permeated her face.

"Cheyenne can do that, she's not carring anything, since we packed our stuff together..in a SMALL bag." Indy said.

Mariana grinned at him, then said, "May I point out that all of my clothes are in the BAG, and the two suitcases are BOOKS?!" She laughed. "No, I don't mind. I'll carry the books....I'll end up reading them on the flight anyway."

"Alright." Indy said. "But were riding to the plane, and taking the horses with us, and meating Sallah in Iraq."

Mariana nodded and followed him out to the stables. She almost laughed when she saw Cheyenne's face. "Books," she said, "In case of research. Don't tell Dad," she whispered in her ear while helping her load, "But I had to take his general book of runes....he doesn't like to take it anywhere, but it could be useful."

Cheyenne smiled. "Your father tends to come unbrepared at times."

Indy munted his horse, alondwith everyone else. "Ready?"

"Yup," said Mariana, She spurred Storm on.

They ran for about an hour, and they finally slowed at thet saw a plimp. "Well" Indy said, dismounting. "This is it." The cargo people, lead their horses and luggage to the cargo-hold, and they took their seats.

Mariana took her seat and, like she said, pulled out a random book. Unfortunately, she didn't notice that it was her father's rune book, though he did.
