Hey everyone, I’m about to start working with a distributed team for the first time. What’s the best way to make sure our internal communication stays private and reliable?

Congrats on the new setup! When we moved remote, we quickly learned that privacy-first tools are crucial. Regular email felt too exposed, and standard messengers lacked proper controls. Switching to a secure collaboration platform allowed us to protect access, encrypt chats, and safely share large files. It made onboarding new members much smoother since everything was centralized. If you’re just starting out, browsing resources on https://www.rcrank.com/ can give you a good overview of what options are out there.
