I like House except for one thing. Why do they feel the need to use some of the most grusome methods of testing for diseases. Every week their taking bone marrow and putting a needle into someone's pupil or opening up their skull.
It makes me sqwimish but the stories are good.

You know, I get squimish a lot too, but I've gotten used to it. That doesn't mean I watch those distirbing images, I actually find myself faced the other way gagging. Ha ha ha...especially with needles. But I believe they follow hospital and medical procedure pretty accuratley. The writers are pretty well informed from what I've heard...medical backgrounds and all.

OOH! I was watching House and I believe there are new episodes in 2 WEEKS!!!!!!! YES!!! *jumps up and down to Franz Ferdinand* Oh and sometime in the new year...(sometime in Janurary I believe)...episodes of House will also be airing on USA Network! Yay! So many of my favourite shows are now on that channel!!!!

Ha! I remember during the summer, i was over at my grandparents house, and my cousin was there too. There was a pool, and those floaty noodles. We named the yellow noodle Chase, because my cousin is in love with him. He is adorable.

I agree with all of you. I've only watched a few episodes but IT'S SOOOO GREAT !!!!!! House is just the perfect example of someone we like to hate. I don't where but I heard someone say about House that he would be really annoying if he wasn't right all the time (maybe it was in the commercial for the show...). I think it's so true it describes the caracter perfectly. And Hugh Laurie is so nice in interviews (and his accent is quite sexy too, like anyone else who has a british/irish/scottish accent !)

I love House - It's good to see Hugh Laurie playing a character that isn't an 'upper-class twit' for a change (Like Bertie Wooster, or George in Blackadder!). Better still, it's nice to see him doing straight drama, when I'm used to seeing him in comedy.

There are so many hospital/doctor dramas around today where the staff are so concerned and caring you'd think that they were saints. What makes House so good is the fact that Gregory House just hates patients. He would be perfectly happy to sit in his office watching soaps and coming up with theories to cure obscure diseases, if only those annoying little clinics didn't keep turning up!

The fact that he sometimes gets so close to the bone with his comments that you just want to hit him is also a refreshing change!

There are posters on bus stops in my area advertising the show, which means that it won't be long before we get the second series - can't wait!

Yay! New episode tomorrow! I'm so happy! That's so cool that you named a noodle Chase! Chase was always my favourite character (of course besides the man himself). Yay!

actually, it wasn't my noodle, it was my grandma's, but yeah, we named it Chase. But then he lost a lot of foam when he got in a fught with the other noodle, the one with the scottish accent. They both lost foam in that battle.
