I just kept thinking to myself "is that it?" hehe. Endings are so important so I felt slightly deprived there.
Mhm...
And it seems in the book the same events occured, but they were longer with more dialogue...
I don't know.

Well, I quite liked the ending.
The Battle was the Climax, they zone out when Lucy goes around to everyone with her cordial, and then it goes to the ball, zooms out with Aslan walking off [I think] and then the White Stag. I liked it.

Perhaps compared to the more substantial ending the book, the movie ending seems rather dry...

Yeah, I s'pose so. The ending simply showed alot more character of the older kids. More dialogue.

I watched it today.
It wasn't as good as I expected it to be. Nothing drastic, but it just wasn't as involving as I had hoped. At the end of the movie it was just like, "that's that'. Normally I leave movies like that thinking about them furiously, but this time it was just.....not involving.
The battle was dissapointing. Really short.
'Course, the armor/weapons of everyone was really cool....o_O Especially the Minotaur general. His axe and sword are awesome.

That's an interesting way of stating it. I think I feel the same...

'Twas alot longer than the details in the books.

Maybe so, Kitoky, but...still not as long as I had hoped. When they're fighting among the rocks, it seems almost as if the majority of the Narnians kept right on going, because their army was incredibly smaller then it was on the plain.

I kinda felt the same way leaving the theater. It simply lacked magic.

Yeah, but on the screen, Aslan's army was huge! Atleast more than half of the Witch's army. Argh the gryffons were so cool.

I agree with Kit on this. The movie was excellent, and the battle scene was longer then the book battle. The movie was better then I expected.
Of course I understand the uber Narnia fans being unsatisfied. I'm the same with my beloved Harry Potter.

I think I'm the only one who thinks the battle was just the right length
I really enjoyed the battle, and like Kitoky, I loved the gryffons, they were awesome But I loved the centaurs, too. Go Aslan! *waves flag*

I liked the length too. It wasn't underdone, it wasn't OVERdone. It was just right --- with a mix of all sorts of battling.
Orieus was SO cool.

A good way to put it. I felt the exact same way. Normally after a good movie I go into this kind of quiet state where I'm thinking about everything that happened, but this time it was just kind of... done.

^Exactly!
After watching RotK in theaters for the first time, I was...stunned. We all went out to get hamburgers, but I couldn't eat. I just sat there quietly and stared...
It was very weird.
But I felt something extremely mild compared to that after LWW.
