Hi, it's me again. :) Who don't I want it to be...err...Lupin *sob*..Severus *wails*...if it's Severus I'll jump off a bridge I swear.

Talking of bridges when the last HP book came out some people tied a banner to a bridge that has one of the biggest motorways (freeways in USA?) running under it....and on the banner they wrote who died in the book. So how many people who hadn't read the book looked up and saw it I don't know...typical eh?

I've got a simliar story to that, there was some guy who'd read the book and finished it and he went by a line of people waiting outside like Borders or Barnes and Noble and shouted who died from his car and drove away...

I don't know if I'd laugh, cry or get mad if someone ruined it for me..

The banner thing, that's original I gotta say

If it was in the U.S.

Then, well, I'm not surprised. I already have little faith in man-kind.

But I will make sure I get the book that Saturday and read, read, read!

I would have jumped on his car! :bones: Just kidding, but that guy really has issues, spoiling everything for the poor fans waiting for the book

Yeah, I do think its awful when people spoil a book for someone how doesn't want it spoiled, takes all the fun away..

I order mine online, and then they get delivered, it cuts down the chance of something happening to give away endings

That's a good idea.
I bought HBP at the midnight party at the local Borders :-D It was fun, a little bit crazy, but fun.

Oh I know, I've wanted to do that, but I'm afraid I can't drive, and my family would probably be too asleep to take me.. but ordering online I get it the next day and can read to my hearts content, as long as my parents don't think up something to distract me... aka.. chores :p

Anyway, I've got a random-ish question.. when did everyone start reading the HP books... like before the movie? When they first came out?

I think I was always interested in them.. but I was reading the first one while I went to go see the movie... and by that time GoF was already out.. so I read that in the library.. and then bought it later

I start reading the books after watching PoA(yeah I know  )I loved the movie so much that I decided to read them.My sister was a fan by that time, so she lent me her books. Then, I realized how much stuff they have changed. The first book I read was PoA, then CoS, SS, GoF(crazy order!) and then I turned into a fan so I waited for OotP and HBP :-D

Yeah, I, myself, started reading the series when the Philosopher's Stone came out. Before hand, I hadn't even heard of Harry Potter so. :D I'm so glad I got into it.

I know what you mean. My brother had read them all, and I was like... erg.. I don't really want to read them, they're so long. But after the movie, I was totally hooked...

I did that too my friend though, her parents wouldn't let her watch/read them for awhile, but then that passed and we watched the movies together, me silently saying all the things wrong ;) , and then she read the books secretly without telling me until GoF movie came out... I still have to get back at her, :bones:

*bumps this thread up*

Now we finally know who will play Nymphadora Tonks. The character is going to be played by Natalia Tena.More info in the link below:

http://www.mugglenet.com/newsfusion/ful ... hp?id=1760

I have already seen her in the movie "About a Boy".She plays the punk rock girl.

With make-up and all that stuff, she will look the part, although I didn't imagine Tonks like that.

:bounce:
