I've never been to Canada ([s] though I've been to Indonesia... [/s] ), but I think the next Winter Olympics is there...so I might go then, if not before. (Oh, to see figure skating live...! )

Ooh, Elijah with sunglasses. My day (night?) has just been made.

All right, it's no secret that I adore Frodo so much that I created a (probably slightly Mary-Sue-ish) character, Ari, and had her fall in love with him in a fanfic. But I also admire Elijah very much as an actor and have, really, since I saw him in Forever Young with Mel Gibson at a pretty young age, although at the time I had no idea who he was. He's an incredibly talented actor and seems so sweet in real life, very down to earth and nice to his fans.

To get a little discussion going, has anyone been watching his TV show, Wilfred, on FX? It just got picked up for a second season. It's a little too raunchy for my taste at times, but other times it's hilarious. And, of course, Elijah is awesome in his role.

no, haven't seen it. I'm never much for TV (just movies, of course!) so although I'd heard of it, I didn't watch it. I bet Elijah's awesome in it though - he's so talented! I watched Flipper when I was seven and didn't know he was, but I remembered the face when I saw Lord of the Rings.
I agree with what you said though, about him seeming sweet and down to earth. incidentally, have you seen the easter egg with his interview with Dom? it's hilarious
