Strains of a light melody provided by a flute greeted Arinae as she strolled along. She meandered until she found the source, guessing it to be Alyan, as he had provided her and Rowen with a light tune ever so often by the side of a campfire and the alluring style in which it was often played was easily recognized. Her suspicions had been correct, as she soon arrived to find him seated and playing upon the instrument. It was at this moment, however, that Rowen came to intervene, and Arinae overheard her words. "If Alyan wishes to continue to play, I would be more than glad to help you search for your friend, Rowen" she offered with a kind smile, her eyes shimmering their dark green.

Radiel awoke slowly, yawning and rubbing her eyes. Her throat felt a bit sore, probably from the cold of last night, she thought. She walked over to the window to look out, while putting her hair into a ponytail as usual. Washing her hands and her face with the water in a bucket made of wood she dried her face with her sleeve, and headed towards the common room. She made herself a light meal consisting of bread and porridge.
She sat down by the table next to Amoniel, the woman they had met before entering Rohan, who seemed to have a conversation with Rinkemen. Radiel ate quietly.

Rinkemen looked at Radiel and nodded to her.
"I think we may be leaving today or tommorow, are you ok to travel?"

Radiel looked at him, then moved her gaze to her food, keeping it there.
"Mhm..." she replied and finished her breakfast, cleaning up after herself.
"Sure."
And with that she left, running outside. The sun shone brightly, warming her face. It was a perfect weather. Not too hot, not too cold. Not dry, nor humid. She kept a slow pace, wandering around in the city as she heard a familiar tune not too far away.

(Lol Nie!! Some dream that was. Had I known... )
Liran was somewhat startled by Rowen's appearance and outburst. He stopped playing and put down his flute. My.. but this was one rash young lady he'd found! You could think she had been a princess, acting like she was. He was in a joyous mood, and the situation amused him greatly. He had to suppress the urge to burst out laughing, and looked her in the eyes in silence for a few moments. Suddenly, on impulse, he got up and bowed to her elegantly, flourishing his cape as he had seen done by nobles in Dol Amroth as a child.
"Forgive me, my Lady," he said humbly. "I was wrong to abandon you and your noble search. I am at your service."

Rowen was surprised by Liran's reaction. In the past he had always been courteous, and this teasing manner was unexpected. She felt a twinge of remorse for her rude words, but embarassment and anger took over. Flushing slightly, she swept into a deep curtsy.
"Thank you, my Lord, you are too kind."
Giving the young man a scathing smile, Rowen turned on her heel and set off for the main road, inwardly seething.

Arinae's expression twisted into a half amused, half confused look, and when Rowen stormed off, she followed swiftly behind the young woman. She would have laughed, but suspected she would recieve glares from the both of them if she had. Rather, she merely followed silently, one brow raised and a half smirk still planted amid her features.

Rowen turned around as calmly as she could manage.
"Pardon me, but I think we would be more likely to find Radiel if we each take a different road."

"You could have worded that to your thoughts, young lady, such as 'pardon me I am in a rotten mood, will you please find someone else's heels to tread upon?' In fact, If I'm not mistaken, you asked to be 'accompanied' through the city... but no matter, I shall do your bidding" With a swiftly given bow, and still weilding a smirk, Arinae turned on her heels and sprinted down a side street without another word.

Rowen stared after Arinae, then slowly turned back to face the road. She was unbearably frustrated. It seemed that no matter what she said, she managed to anger someone.
But she's right...I did ask to be accompanied, she thought to herself. There, at least, she had erred. Resolving to apologize later on that day, Rowen attempted to swallow her guilt. She must find Radiel.

Word of the two girls’ disappearance had grown in the White City. Not only as runaways, but rumours were carried from one level to another saying otherwise. The girls had been abducted, the girls were killed. Minas Tirith was burning on the inside; the citizens were secretly afraid to go anywhere in the city by themselves. Especially had it effected the mothers, who would not let their children wander far. The families of Radiel and Rowen were losing hope, slowly; they wished and prayed to that their children would be found, but naught did it help.
Ragnar, guard of king Elessar and Radiel’s father, soon took matters into his own hands. He had arranged for a search party to be formed, consisting of five brave soldiers (for brave they had to be, with the new threat afoot) and such they left on the fifth day of Radiel’s absence. Difficulty soon greeted them on their task. They had been provided with each their horse, food, water and what else supplies they would need, but little did it help when all tracks left were washed away by a sudden shower of summer rain.
“Sir, the men are tired. All tracks are gone, we cannot know where they went, judging that they did indeed run off on their own. We cannot linger in this wilderness.”
Ragnar turned to look at the approached soldier. He had been sitting amongst his own thoughts, gazing into the fire, or what was left of it. Darkness had settled and no sign of live creatures were to be heard or seen in the stillness of the night.
“I will not abandon my daughter and her friend.” He replied with a calm voice. “I will keep searching. You have my appreciation for helping me this far, but it will not hinder me if but all of you stray.” He turned back to stare into the live coal before continuing with a hidden smirk. “And are the soldiers not trained for worse than our current setting? A little taste of freedom should not slay them.” And so he rested, for in troubled times, sleep can be the most precious thing.
The days went on, and surely, two of the soldiers did stray, if only to report back in the White City. Even Ragnar soon discovered, however, that they were running low on provisions. And so he agreed to return to Minas Tirith, but he never gave up hope.

Rinkemen sighed to himself heavily. It had been days of never ending reading. He felt exhausted and constantly drained. He got up out his chair and heard his joints crack. He let out a groan and stretched his arms out wide.
He walked outside, holding his glass of wine. He stood in the doorway and watched the people go by while sipping his wine, when he saw a young girl walk past he thought he recognised.
"Rowen?..."
He watched he jog past and frowned.
"...No...couldn't be..."
He was about to step inside when he put the glass down and quickly walked out following the young girl.

Liran winced inwardly as Rowen and Arinae left. He'd meant it in jest, but Rowen obviously did not take it as such. Things always seemed to go the wrong way with her. But she was right. They had come to find Radiel. Putting his flute away and slinging it over his shoulder again, he set off, heading in the opposite direction from the others, and kept a sharp eye out, as he was not quite sure he could recognize Radiel if he saw her.

Amoniel followed Radiel, eating the last peice of her breakfast. When she caught up to her she fell into step beside her.
"Why did you run away? From your home?" Amoniel asked.

Radiel did not reply immediately. She kept her pace, facing the road.
"So everybody knows, then, I suppose? That I ran away?" She stopped and turned to look at Amoniel.
"It's not that... I mean. I don't..." Radiel found herself stuck at that point, lost in words. She turned back to the road, walking again.
"I don't know."
