I can't believe I missed this thread. Must have been last summer when I was away.
I love the Beatles. I love love love Strawberry Fields, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Yesterday, The Long and Winding Road, Let It Be, Hey Jude... (I'm a huge sucker for Paul's lovely, weepy ballads!) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Band is amazing. Love every minute of it.
Does anyone have a favourite Beatle in particular? I love Paul, although they are all cool.

Oh, I love Sgt. Pepper too! I think that album is my favourite...
I agree with my mum that Paul has a better singing voice. I think.
It's really weird - my friend just gave me a whole lot of Beatles music. I have a couple of Beatles albums, and other songs I've heard my mum sing or something, but I also have the CDs "Beatles Go Barque" and "Panpipes play the Beatles". So there are all these melodies that are so familiar - but I don't know the words! At all! So hearing the words is... strange.
And then there are some Beatles songs I know the words too (my parents have a book of piano music of all the Beatles songs) but I've never heard the melody before. Ever.
It's so very weird... but it's great to finally hear the songs properly!

I used to be obsessed with the Beatles when I was a kid. They were the first band that I ever really liked. I still do like them a bit just not as much as before. My favourite song by them is "Hard Days Night."
edit: I would like to retract my previous statement because over the past couple of months I have become obsessed with the Beatles (Which I think now based on my sig and avatar is obvious lol). I found all of my old cds and fell back in love with the music again. I listen to them practically everyday.

Yes, I agree. Paul's voice is my favourite too. So soothing. Although, I love John's speaking voice too.

I love the Beatles! My favorite beatle is George, and I think my favorite song is You Like Me Too Much. I think my favorite album is Rubber Soul.

I was never brought up on them, but I love The Beatles. Eleanor Rigby is probably my favorite song now.

I've been listening a lot more to the Beatles earlier stuff. Of course, most people like the Beatles's more "serious" music, like what they did later on in their career...but lately, I've come to really appreciate the early stuff. It's very nostalgic...All My Lovin', Please Please Me, Love Me Do, Do You Want to Know a Secret...

Now that I think about it that's the only Beatles movie I don't think I ever saw. I didn't want to see it when I was a kid because it didn't have them in it. I like their other movies, Hard Days Night and Help. I don't really remember Magical Mystery Tour because I was so young when I saw it but it would be interesting to see it again. And maybe someday I'll rent Yellow Submarine.
