					| I thought this would be a quite interesting topic.
There are some songs which are not from the soundtrack that remind me of LotR every time I listen to them, for example

-Hero (Mariah Carey) - Reminds me so very much of Frodo's journey
-Dante's Prayer (Loreena McKennitt) - Seems to refer to the whole LotR story
-Heaven (sung by Hayley Westenra) - The end of LotR
-My Immortal (Evanescence) - Aragorn & Arwen!

Do you also know some songs that remind you of LotR?

					| the reason a lot of songs remind me of LotR is because I watch and make songvids to go with LotR scenes and so when i listen to the soung it reminds me of certian scenes...
Like Holding out for A Hero-bonnie Tyler reminds me of Aragorn, Legolas, Boromir, Faramir, Eomer lol

					| Another one I thought of, some of the lyrics of Thousand Foot Krutch's song Hurt make me think of Sam and Frodo, particularly right before Shelob's Lair.
It hurts when you need me
And I can't break your fall
It hurts when you can't see
 And it hurts
And it hurts when you're lonely
And I'm standing right beside you now
And it hurts when you tell me
That you'll try this on your own
 Hope you never hurt
 Hope you never cry
Hope you never loose your way tonight
 Hope you never stumble
 Hope you never fall
Hope you never throw away it all

					| mmmm....depends on the situation and after seeing Fan videos of LOTR in which a song was used that matched EXACTLY the situation in the video, I can say a few, lol
Missing (Evanescence)..it makes me think of Faramir and the whole situation with his dad

My Immortal (Evanescence) - Aragorn & Arwen
Enya's songs for obvious reasons, lol

					| My Immortal reminds me of Arwen and Aragorn too. When I first heard that song I immediately thought of LotR. But there's also a song called Stand my ground... I can't remember the name of the band, but it reminds me of the battle in Minas Tirith. _________________

					| It could be a long list, and I'm actually getting a friend to make me some videos for these songs, but so far I have:
 My Immortal- Evanescence
Once Upon A Time: The Battle For Life And Death- Good Charlotte
 A New Beginning- Good Charlotte
 Change- Good Charlotte (Eowyn, Aragorn)
 Missing- Evanescence (Arwen)
