yeah when i beat someone it ussually hurts but Legolas reaaly shouldn't be in The Hobbit - he's not mentioned in the book so why should he be in the movie? sorry, fangirls

I want Legolas to be in The Hobbit-but I know he won't be in there.

I think it would ne cool for leggy to play his dad! If they did the make up right it wouldnt be confussing. They have to make him look a little bit older and stuff. But it would be cool. I think it would be cool for Leggy to be in it too. Becasue he would most likely have been there anyways. They just dont metion him in the books.

^I totally agree, but a lot of people contradict that. They don't want Leggie in the movie-much less OB too. But everyone is entitled to there own opinion.......so I'll just keep hoping.

I think it would be funny to see Legolas in The Hobbit, but please, PLEASE let it be a very small part!! I'd like just to see him, a little view and then never again...!

Maybe when they show Thrainduil (I know there is a lot of him in the book) they could pan over a tad to show Legolas next to him. Nothing much just to show that he is there. No speaking parts or anything.

Yeah, I think they should have a Legolas cameo in The Hobbit. Even though Tolkien didn't mention him, he would most likely be by his dad. I'm not that much of an OB fan (even though I do think he's a good actor) but I still would really like seeing Legolas there, since it would sort of link the trilogy and the Hobbit together...since Ian Holm won't be playing Bilbo (he's too old!) So I think that would be nice, just to see him sitting there, and maybe fighting later--but keep him in the background.

me too! just 2 have him once as a cameo in the Mirkwood scene.i mean,he lives there,why wouldnt he be there ?sure Legolas wasnt in the book,but that was probably cos he wasnt dreamed up till 20 years later.of course all the ppl who have seen the movies but havent read the books will be glad 2 see familiar ppl like Gandalf and Smeagol/Gollum.
