Yes, Mrs. Gamge, please do.
I'm using a Simplicity pattern-4940. I'm altering it some, though.
As for my Renaissance gown, I'm usin Simplicity 9531, view D-I don't have any pictures.
As for the faire, it's a local thing here in Iowa, not very big, it's at one of the campgrounds. So, it's really not something like Ring Con. And I can garuntee more interseting stuff happens in Florida then in Iowa.

Yes, that one, I'm making the silver dress.
What do you mean "Florida isn't interesting"? You have the smallest post office that ever existed!

Ooh! Sounds cool! With a hood too? When I made my first real thing with a sewing machine, it was a cape. A hobbit cape, patternless and with Saracrazy9's help! =)
Well, eventually I'll have to start making a dress, actually two, for an upcoming Renaissance fair, one for me and one for my friend, and I JUST might be able to convince one of the members of our club, Saracrazy9 to make a dress too!

Mrs. Gamgee... pardon my tardy reply... I had less than a week because I was making it for a banquet. Thank Elbereth I got it done the day before.. the night before... okay, two hours before the dumb thing I tried it on completely finished for the first time! It turned out quite well though, and as soon as I have them on my computer, I shall put them up.
Nothing as good as the movie's seamstresses, but let's not compare ourselves with perfection.

I have passed by this group so many times I can't even count them anymore. I would love to make costumes from the Lord of the Rings, but I don't have a lot of time or money on my hands to do things like that. I would still like to join, though, so that when I do get the time and the money, I will be able to do it right the first time.
I've made: Well, my grandma made Eowyns white dress for me
I'd like to make: Arwens corination dress and Eowyns' green dress.
Working on: none.
