Yes, there weren't enough scenes about their relationship in the movie, and Tolkien didn'T really write much about it either. I'm very sad about this...
The scene on Pelennor Fields, when Éomer finds Éowyn, really is so sad. I love it, but each time I see it, I have to cry, too...

I don't think I've ever cried at any of the Eowyn scenes... *Shrugs* Maybe I'm heartless.

What do you think would have been the relationship between Éowyn and Denethor, if Denethor wouldn't've burned himself? This question is haunting me for about half a year!

Lol, it's not said anywhere in the book, but it's rather natural, isn't it? she's a fighting girl, and they probably had servants or whatever to make food...
