Unfortunately, I don't have anything that I have started or previously made (unless you count a few very simple drawstring bags and a stocking for Christmas ), however, I was promised a sewing machine for my 21st birthday (three months ago ), so once I get it, I will have many accomplishments about which I shall most definitely post here!

well, i finally have some progress on ym arwen dress! I cut out the pattern and main pieces for the under dress...and tommorow we're gonna go buy fabric for the sleeves. =]

Sounds fun! I have absolutely no idea what I am going to do for this halloween, if I do anything at all. lol. I may wear my Renn Faire costume, though. My mom made most of it and I did some.

Background info on dress:
it is a Simplicity design from the Movie Shakespeare in Love. It is very similar to the dress that Viola is wearing when Shakespeare seeks into a party and first dances with her; except it's green. I'll see if I can find the pattern to show you. Found it! Unfortunately, they don't make the pattern anymore: http://www.simplicity.com/assets/8881/8881t.jpg

But anyways... that was a very hard dress to make and took a long time. It is sill not done 2 years later. lol! I may wear that this year, I wore an Eowyn-like dress last year... hmm.... *ponder**ponder*

I saw that pattern at wal-mart.
I think it's actually supposed to be a "replica" costume pattern for that movie.
They even made the model look a little lady from Shakespear in love!

I ruined the skirt.

Yeppers, my skirt was ruined while I was gathering it. Instead of cutting the thread, I wound up cutting about a foot off of it and putting a few holes in it.

So, I have to make a new skirt. >.<
